    Hey Zen I love this kick at 08:32. Is that from your packs, or is it from somewhere else? I can see it´s saying, Nico Falla, or something. I would appreciate it, but understand if you don´t want to share it lol. Also, I really love the kick of the new track of `Jengi - Take U`. It reminds me of this one. Can u maybe make a short video, how to make phat kicks like this? That would be awesome!

    When I have reapproached a bass trk or several within a project with the intention of making the bass sound deeper or fatter most of the time it doesnt help redfine the depth of it to the extent that i would say sounds signficant. Choosing the right waveforms that fit well with everything else almost always leads to a fatter bass above anything else (assuming the intent from the projects outset), even with harmonics and frequencies that cut out frequencies below 120 HZ you can still obtain a fat sound when everything sits well together.

    How could I ask a better question in the google search engine to obtain a more accurate search or what websites do you recommend to find a slightly more technical and specialized review on a specific producer or one of his tracks?

    The secret is always in the basics it seems. Thanks for this tip!
    One thing I'm always having trouble is the kicks man. It seems like a lot of the stuff I find on splice doesn't have a proper low end.. and kinda sound hollow. How do you find the appropriate kicks for electronic music? And making them with serum is even worse - though that might be because of my noob status with it.

    What about a Reesebass? I saw your sidechain settings and you duck your bass 100% down. With a Reesebass its sounds really pumping and i dont want that. Maybe kill the frequencies around 0-150 to leave space? But then i have the Problem to lose some fatness. Always good content from my favourite mexican.

    i mean decibel tries to replicate the human hearing as we can hear higher pitches better than lower. Cutting out higher pitches. Even if the bass is „low“, seems almost intuitive. Higher pitches distort lower one’s way more than lower do to higher. I guess you guys know that

    I disagree that you can't have highs as plenty of slap or deep house tracks have very plucky transient envelopes that make up the "fatness" and wouldn't be the same without it. It all depends :D

    • @SpaceZeee
      @SpaceZeee ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think that's a separate bass sound.
      where all the lows were cut but highs were kept with the addition of a bass that has no highs.

    • @bigboss-qv7pe
      @bigboss-qv7pe ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe it's about adding highs with saturation which in turn kills bass. I'll have to mess around and hear it myself.
