That is some top-notch weathering! I adore 08th MS Team (Ground Gundam is my favourite mobile suit) because it tends to be one of the grittier and more realistic Gundam series and you absolutely nailed the look here!
If jang think he needs more experience…. I can’t imagine what the kit would look like when he’s “mastered” the art of chipping and what not. This genuinely looks amazing for his first attempt
I love this format! A personal story, some pointers on technique, and quick showcase of the model. All in just a few minutes. Would love even more close up shots of the robot!
That doesn't look just 'okay', that looks amazing man! I just picked this kit up myself a few days ago to go along with the MG Gouf Custom I got a few weeks back. Still in the process of building it but was planning on doing a similar style of painting and weathering using markers and some citadel paints/washes I have lying around so its funny seeing this video pop up on my feed.
Even for a first attempt, this would go beyond my expectations of doing it myself! Wear that badge strong! I also recently wanted to level up my Gunpla skills and weathering was always on my bucket list. Would you be able to do a future video on your methods and tips and tricks for beginners?
Thanks much. Once I gain some confidence and develop some repeatability I'll definitely get into sharing tips & demos with a focus on relatively simple, accessible, and quick techniques that give better-than-expected results for the material & time cost. For advanced-level tutorials this will never be the channel LOL
i think the paintjob looks amazing but i am very bothered that you put am EFSF logo on this when iirc the Ez‐8 is part of the Earth Federation Ground Forces, which literally does not matter but does bug me lmao

The weathering looks great! You are inspiring me to try things outside of my comfort zone - thank you!

This is an awesome build! Lots of grit and weathering to the EZ-8 makes it look so real and amazing.

Yeah good catch, but that's Bandai's fault, not mine :) Factory decorations
It actually looks more "cartoony" or "drawn" than weathered in certain angles
hooooly
