Im a fan of Jang may It be Lego or Gunpla.

I love seeing Gundam Air/space craft getting something very close to the vintage Real type colors since it's always the Mobile Suits that get them.

This was myt first gundam as a kid. the 1/100 HG one. I broke the wings and the connector peg for the G-falcon. Still love it tho, wish I still had it.

This is a very nice kit for its time, the chrome parts are also a very nice touch

I also love the fact that you do not just go for really mainstream kits but look for kits that you actually find interesting and you can apply your own artistic visions.

Looks great. The color and matte topcoat reminded me of the Cobi A-10 you did a while back

Putting a wash on the chrome fins was a great move.

Looks good so far. I look forward to seeing the finished project. About the default gundam color scheme, I love it so much, but I'm sure I'll get over it eventually.

That is some top-notch weathering! I adore 08th MS Team (Ground Gundam is my favourite mobile suit) because it tends to be one of the grittier and more realistic Gundam series and you absolutely nailed the look here!

Oh hey I didn't realize you had a mecha channel. Durability of kits is super important, it's a pain to deal with a kit that explodes when you touch it, it's why I've been telling people that the RG Hi-Nu is the best bandai had to offer, this kit is now in my backlog and I really cannot wait to put it together to see how well it holds up compared to that kit. I also appreciate that this thing wasn't like 50 bucks but was less than 40 where I got it.

Happy to see you're posting model kit videos. Subbing was super easy, barely an inconvenience! I'd be interested to watch more about your painting process in the future, such as which paints you used and how you applied it. I'm probably at a similar experience as you, or slightly lower, so it helps to see what someone with similar skill level achieved and how they did it.

Hey JANG, Do you keep all of your models? How do you display your models? Neatly ordered displays by IPs and scale? Mixing and matching in HUGE battle displays and dioramas?

It's amazing that it can stand with such skinny legs.

RG EVA 01 is actually a really smooth build and comes out really well. just because RG’s weren’t good before doesn’t mean that modern RG kits are of the same quality, because they actually hold together *cough cough* char’s zaku *cough cough*

AH HA! This explains why there have not been new models uploaded to TheJANG channal. Cool! It's great to see JANG doing more models of mecha!

I’m guessing they put it in 30MM because of the interoperability with other sets and accessories kits. It makes a lot of sense with the Armored Core theme given how they are customizable in game. I think we will find that there’s a lot more parts swapping possible within the AC 30MM line than across 30MM lines.

Love the colour you brought out, especially on the existing beige runners. How did you get that colour to look so faded? I'm assuming its not just drybrushing.

it is good to note that the limb connections (arm socket and leg sockets) are the same as 30mm and all related. so that means you can use the torso with any 30minute missions or even 30 minute sisters if you want to, or vice versa. the elbow and knees tho are different though, so it is fair to ask why make part of 30mm, but it does kinda fit more than hg since hg has no true consistent system (besides hands, but even then not fully) and bandai has been trying to promote customization with stuff like listing the linbs separately and selling the weapon addons (but not showing this cross-series customization itself!)

Been a fan of your videos for almost ten years now and this is the first time I'm commenting! I saw this kit in one of your lego reviews and subbed to this channel in hopes you'll make a video for it. Wasn't expecting it but man, was I ecstatic to see this video pop up! Glad to see you enjoy Armored Core as well, Jang. I have the Steel Haze kit and can't wait to assemble it. Will you be getting the other ACs or weapon sets in the line?

Oh, I forgot, I also did my standard acrylic panel wash on the frame & weapon runners to add to the dark end of contrast. I didn't hit the armor with the darkening step this time, but probably should have. By viewer request, I will eventually do some videos showing what techniques I use -- they're not great, but they're at least okay, and most important for me, they're *very* fast.

been waiting for this review since i spotted it in the background of one of your videos. this + the steel haze are some of the most fun and satisfying build processes ive come across. Don't usually paint my kits, but its so nice i decided to take the plunge and gave it a light gunky layer of oil paint to panel line/make it look a little smoked out and greasy, then hit it with matte spray Just gotta paint the red details and weapons now. In terms of compatibility i think a few of the weapons sets from mainline 30mm fit really nice - i swapped around the extra gun slot from steel haze onto this guy, and replaced it with a rail gun from options set 1 and the songbird to accentuate steel haze's dynamic frame and it looks quite nice. Enjoyed the video and generally appreciate the philosophy of the channel!

it compliments the rg Zeong.. for me i agree with you on this but I prefer the rg right now compare to mg.. the smaller size makes it easier to put in shelf however we are gearing closer to the perfect real grade soon since these are technically master grade made smaller and the price point is almost the same..the smaller size like the decals specially the eyes are a little tricky to put in.. specially me who prefers straight builds. The core fighter feature kind sucks for me.. since it didnt change much on the articulation so I till prefer the rg God gundam and Rg cross bone the ones with core fighters that dosnt break that dosnt limit the articulation so far the worst i own in the rg 1 is the original rg rx 71 yeah that broke off and i was force to glue everything due to the pre build inner frame and the unfinished gao gigar because the head piece and the dang articulated fingers literraly disolved in my huge hands.. in egneral "articulated fingers in gunpla regardless of the grade" is the worst for me.. I havent built the zeong yet from my back logs I'm still searching the whole web is it as fragile as the one with gao gigar and other mg's withs imilar fingers?
