How do I know if my 02 sensor is bad or my catalytic converter is bad . I loose power during acceleration past 3000rpm or 3rd gear
Where is the sensor located for the 3.5 V6 model?
I have an 06, the exhaust manifold should have a heat cover bolted over it. Also, there is no need to mess with the air intake.
Does this procedure work the same for a 2007 Camry XLE? My engine bay is very different?

once replaced, when does the check engine light comes off?
I have a 2010 SE. 2.5 ltr. My sensor is on the side about 7 inches below the sensor shown here.
I saw 2 torque setting on O2 sensors.
1. M12 sensor torque= 13-17 ft-lbs.(avg=15ftlb)
2. M18 sensor torque= 26-33 ft-lbs. (Avg=30 ftlb)
According to NTK brand suggested info.
I loosed the sensor when it was still hot, i think i got the bolts worned out 😢
Could a bad Oxygen Sensor cause rough idle, more rough idle when AC turned on.
Had: New Air filter, spark plugs, oil change, New Alternator, Battery check ... Rough idle still there. More so when car has come to a stop and just running. And when AC switched on. Could this be one thing even though I don't have error code. Haven't cleaned throttle body yet?

+Oceano_ Drive Thanks for watching! With O2 sensors the light will typically go away after driving at least 50 miles. If it doesn't you can try to disconnect the negative battery terminal first. If that does not work then you will have to clear the code with an OBD-II code reader.
dont think you need to take the intake off personally.

Hi, I'm fixing a toyota camrri, I also want to confirm if that is the same sensor that I had, because I put another one on it. from the same camrri likewise but that uses it a little more for bass and you have the shorter cable and it threw me the code p2238.

Replaced this in our 07 camry today had a p0031 heater circuit code now with new sensors have a p2238 🤷♂️🤦♂️

My 2009 Camry SE has a P0031 code. Would that be the upstream oxygen sensor?
+Carmello Heights A faulty upstream O2 sensor could be the possible cause for a P0031 code.
Is that a factory Catalytic Converter or aftermarket?
Is this a bank 1 sensor 2 on a V6 Camry?
