The shots from 3x telephoto in master auto mode looks amazing, especially portraits. I love it.

Finally, I decided to buy it today, the oneplus 12. I've been waiting to get my hands on it. I'm so excited to switch from my S24 Ultra to this. I'll share my thoughts after I try it out. I'm sure the photos will be much better than what I get with my Samsung. 😀

I was using Xiaomi 14 and after a couple of months I've purchased a OnePlus 12. Sadly, it fell to the ground yesterday. Now I've got a broken screen phone with a cent size circle right center of the screen unfortunately. So I've ordered Xiaomi 14 again. I love OxygenOS, better than hyperos but it won't be bad going back to Leica lenses with a compact form phone. In some ways, both phones on par but OnePlus runs system cooler imo.
With OP12 for over half year and regarding camera, which is in my opinion great setup overall, capable, but, where I put my doubt's are OP skills in further camera improvement for software. I found that they smoothed a bit final images and often miss a color balance, photos got yellowish and purpleish in several scenarios and can be replicated. Hope for them to ack it sometimes.
Yeah that filter effect was more agressive at the beginning, and it REALLY felt like a filter on like the OP 9 and OP 10, they have cooled that down, but for the price very little to complain for me, though as you said. Unsure how much they will or can improve.
oh man, a lot comes down to personal preference! I will say between the 12 and the 13 Pro I would go for the 13 pro for sure, the regular X7 I never used so it's hard to judge that one.
The only that this phone doesn't check my preference is, the camera bump layout. 😂 I prefer centered bump, like a camera would(?). Everything else is beautiful, through.
Hahaha well it depends on how you view it^^ for me i am ok with it because the frame is connected with it, and i LOVE the details inside the camera and in this green it looks amazing 😍

I have the one plus 12, and I am satisfied with it, the jack of all trades, but it is not exceptional in one specific area of photography. And the level of detail at 100% of the photo is on par with my old Galaxy S6. It improves a lot with Gcam, but I don't understand how they can do it so badly for it to be their native application.

I don't believe you, because the difference between gcam and stock cameras is rather small. Yeah, the processing in Gcam is better, but not enough, so I deleted Gcam and started to use the stock camera only

These are massive lens therefore they produce very good pictures. I already tested it in lowlight. With Marisilion ISP, pictures from find x6 pro better than x7 ultra in lowlight

I love this phone and the camaras are alright. I just think that main lens lacka details compared to the OP11 (at least from samples I have seen). And the periscope photos have gotten oversharpened after updates (specially 6x). I wish you could take a look at the 3X RAW files, since I think there's a big problem with them.
yeah the camera's are on the level of the top dogs, but that makes sense, you are paying a good chunk less for it and for that I think it's really solid :)
I honestly believe that, I don't think oneplus is the best at natural looking shots, it has a style to it, but I will say greens are very well done where a lot of phones struggle!
I never used the latest Xperias, can you control saturation, contrast and sharpness settings in any mode? I can do this in master mode in OnePlus 12 and it's a real gamechanger, nothing else i ever used before comes close.
i just returned the oneplus 12 for bad autofocus, bad lighting capture and bad selfie camera while outdoors. I came from a Pixel 7 and returned to it very gladly. A shame, but no excuse when you have that H symbol. I saw all reviews on it and should've paid more attention to the camera issues while others were praising it for everything else including cameras... (didnt fool me)
I can base it on the earlier experience sadly, could be it started poor when you had it? No ide? So far i haven't noticed auto focus issues. What kind of situations would you have it? Can see if I can somehow replicate it!

Can you review the Oppo Find X6 Pro? It has a 1-inch main camera sensor, a 1/1.56 telephoto periscope sensor and a 1/1.56 ultrawide sensor as well.

Purley from a camera standpoint, its great but the vivo x100 pro is unfourtunatly just better

OP11 camera is poor, so oversharpened and unrealistic. There aren't more details, it's just an illusion
