- It's a close call for Brian (Paul Walker) and Roman (Tyrese Gibson) when they take part in a race with some of Verone's best drivers.
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) Brian, a former officer, partners with Roman Pearce, his ex-convict friend. As a part of a deal with the FBI, Brian and Roman have to bring down Verone, a drug lord, to erase their criminal record.

Those Mitsubishi engines were tougher than you think. Especially in the Evolution. In rally trim using the stock block and pistons it could get to 10k and hold together for a few minutes.

@@truthhurts95 No. it was about Brian infiltrating the street racing scene where toretto and the gang were stealing DVD players and other valuables. The very first scene in F&F is literally a heist. It was NEVER about just street racing. It just so happen to be the captivating part of the plot.

I love how realistic the movies were back then. Just the small details. For example, Rome’s car has the SRS warning light on in the cluster because of after market steering wheel. I miss these movies.

No matter if it slow or fast, Brian's still winning when he using NOS or not. At least he realized that night race in LA where he racing with her's Eclipse was a big mistake where he using a 2 big NOS that he didn't know her NOS weren't enough for the RPM...

They would probably have electric racing cars bruh lol.
I don't like EV's, but maybe it would be interesting make some FF movie with electric cars... It would be in future, where EV's are completely normal, BUT, there will also be classic cars with combustion petrol engines. And that cars will be ilegal, so not only racing is ilegal.. But even riding normal car is ilegal, and it would be problem for cops. And be honest, EV cars have potentional to be fast in straight line, so race between Tesla and some old 60's muscle car would be interesting too. Or Tesla vs. JDM drift car, Tesla would be faster, but JDM would win in corners. I don't want to live in world where is only EV's street legal, but as a movie, it would be interesting...

@@harikrishnanunni3966 I'm guessing the thought was he short shifted for the nitrous shot, and ended up still just on the bottom of the power curve, making the downshift risky, but feasible. He was only going to get more power for a few 100 to maybe 1k RPM before having to shift up again. Kind of depends on where he was in top gear (which we didn't get to see) before the shift, and how long gearing is.

The Fast and Furious saga was never about street racing. It was about pulling off jobs, car chases, heists, and never turning your back on family, even when they do. Something you wouldn't understand, since you just watch the racing.
