- After being offered a deal by the FBI, Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) recruits his old friend, Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson), to join him on the job.
2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) Brian, a former officer, partners with Roman Pearce, his ex-convict friend. As a part of a deal with the FBI, Brian and Roman have to bring down Verone, a drug lord, to erase their criminal record.

2 Fast 2 Furious was seriously one of the best films in the franchise.
I wasn't interested in the first one until after I saw this one.

@@lunasilvermoon2283 It was cool when the Rock was brought on but now he's just playing himself and he's always driving heavy vehicles and acting as a rear gunner. If he didn't join the Dom crew, I can see Roman being in that spot too

If this was F&F 20, they both would've drawn swords, started doing flips and swings in the air, until they both clash their blades, look at eachothers eyes until Brian says "I don't want to fight you Roman !" and then Roman says "shut up" and they start doing flips again, until the officer pulls out a captain america shield, throws it a them bouncing on both of them and flies back right at him and says "that's enough !"

FUN FACT: Paul Walker (Brian O'Conner) actually knew Jiu-Jitsu, he had a black belt. Look how he put Roman into a chokehold, also if anyone remember the scene when O'Connor fought Dom in Fast 4, how he got Dom into an armbar, despite he lost.

He was a brown belt when he died(almost a black) brown is still quite dangerous but he used simple moves closed guard to guillotine(the simple moves are the best)
At 2:34 Brian takes Roman’s back (pretty much game over if the other person doesn’t know bjj) and then camera angle changes and suddenly Roman is back on top of him. If you look closely elsewhere Paul is winning little battles everywhere in this scene. But it’s low-key and harder to notice making the scene quite enjoyable
@Josh Miller we must be talking about different systems. Walker trained in brazillian jiu jitsu which is newaza from judo greatly expanded by the Gracie family in Brazil. The adult belts are white, blue, purple, brown, black. I know ive been training this system for a couple of years.

I don't think he really beat Vince, it seemed like they were both having their moments, one shot had Brian on top, another shot had Vince on top. It just so happened that Brian was having his moment when Dom pulled him off Vince

They will bring him back as robocop, he will go under cover and infiltrate another gang organization, better have registration in order...

fun fact: Paul Walker requested that his fight scenes be him mostly using jiu-jitsu which is why he usually doesn't throw punches and he almost always ends up on the ground since he had recently gotten into BJJ around the time of this film.
