Ordered my Chaser .22 w from PA today (came with a free canister of H&N Cudas) Can't wait to try her out! I was undecided between the Diana & Crossman 2240, but the multi-shot mag won me over. Great review glad I trusted my gut!! Keep on plinkin' y'all.🤠
I've got the .177 version. With the right scope and a good breathing technique I've been able to put 5 pellets back to back in a wood plank at 5 yards. Nobody believes me and I didn't film that of course🤦 The 6th pellet would probably sticked to the 5th but... gravity eh. Never seen a gun this accurate. Was using crossman hollowpoint. I love this little device so much that I bought a nice bipod, gave it my best scope and purchased 9 chargers. Made a mod so a flashlignt is attached under and boosted the fps by changing the hammer spring for a Crosman c11 pistol spring which fitted perfectly.
Great review Tyler! I can't wait to get my hands on one of these, love the looks of it with the extended barrel and stock. Definitely reminiscent of the 2240 with a few different tweaks.
Tyler, if this the same gun I think it is, the silencer unscrews from the barrel and is easily attached to the short barrel, just unscrew the end cap. Since I bought my Victory CP2, I learned a little about it; The Diana Chaser, the SMK Victory CP2 and Artemis CP2 are the same gun, though I was surprised by how the Chaser does NOT come with two magazines like the other versions. My victory started as a fairly decent and impressive gun, but since I've broken it in, the accuracy has tightened up dramatically and I would happily recommend these guns to others since mine's a dream to shoot, to the point I can hit within a dime nearly every time at 15 to 20 yards!
My Chaser sits for many months, getting shot only rarely, and I always leave the CO2 canister in it, from near full pressure to nearly out. Never any problem. But I put a drop of Automatic Transmission Sealer on every canister tip before installation. They're quality guns.
RIght on, love it. Can't believe I been out of the game so long didn't see these guy pretty much clock everything I wanted in an air pistol: butt stock and extended rifle, and shot magazine on a co2 armament.
same gun, same supplier, different brand to accomodate location. Diana seems to be predominantly US, Victory seems to be UK based, Artemis seems to be predominantly Europe based
I've had my Chaser for 1 week. I am very impressed with the accuracy & power @ 20 yards (my limit) . the trigger is perfect, and it is quiet. I get a good 50 shots before c02 gets sketchy. might have to get a second one just to have down the road !
That's what I did and already having the .177 kit, I got the. 22 pistol only and can use the stock from the kit and I got another stormrider .22 barrel for a carbine power platform. I'll do the simple hammer spring upgrade to add 50+ fps also. These are good little guns especially for the $$...
Almost positive the reason why it's improved is because it a two stage trigger and the gun is really a qb79 or 78 also gauntlet there all the same parts wise so it a up grade 2nd gen qb mod.
Something amiss with your rifle. Just received one .22 kit. Looks like UPS dragged it behind the truck to Florida. However, 7+ fpe with short barrel, and 9 - 9.25 fpe with rifle.
Great vid Tyler, as always. I purchased the stormrider last fall and it has been great, all expectations have been met and more. Last July the chaser arrived, and again I’m impressed. The 9 round magazine works well in both guns, only malfunctions are my fault, loading without reading glasses. Hopefully the stock becomes available for the chaser
Each time it was fired as a pistol the bolt handle would bounce up & down. When fired as a rifle it remained still with no movement. What would cause that .
This gun is also referred to as an Artemis CP2 in my country... you got 6ft.lbs in the states? NO WAY... I chronied both 177 and 22 in both rifle AND pistol formats from the lightest pellets i have up until i saw the power drop off from excessive weight(i have tested 5 pellet weights in both calibres and both gun configurations). I am only stating the absolute max power i got with all of them and not the pellets i prefer to shoot due to flatter trajectory etc.... here are the MAX power figures: 177 pistol: Gamo g-hammer 15.4gr @ 400,8 fps doing 5,49 ft.lbs (DAMN close to JSB 13.48gr @ 428,6fps doing 5.48ft.bls) 177 rifle: JSB 13.48gr @ 504,0 fps doing 7,58 ft.bls (the g-hammers were doing 7.49ft.lbs) 22 pistol: JSB monster 25.4gr @ 358,8 fps doing 7.26 ft.lbs (JSB RS 13.43gr will shoot at 463,2 fps by the way) 22 rifle: JSB monster 25,4gr @ 424,9 fps doing 10,18ft.lbs (in .22 RIFLE MODE all 5 pellet weights were damn close tho(13.43gr to 33.95gr)... id pick lighter ones for speed/flat trajectory) PS: there was no accuracy testing done, this was a power test. This was shot in the summer in Africa tho... but your 6ft.lbs claim must have been shot in a fridge?
thanks for your time Sir, and i just get my yesterday and today i love it at the range.. Chaser .22 is a beast, sorry to say this may be you use red dot and i use scope, at 20 yards, sorry i make smaller group then you LOL, any way i’m very happy with it, good price, good gun... i a new air gun users, can i buy a barrel.177 put on my ... my is .22
The CARM magazines (made in Croatia) are better in every way than the factory mags. Same with the CARM swing out single shot tray, way better and easier to use than the factory one.
Hey Tyler check out the SMK Victory CP2 package in the U.K. everything you said you wanted it in there combo pistol / air rifle both barrels can take the moderator/silencer too and the barrel band resides on the rifle barrel all the time loose but didnt see anybody bother to remove it and fit separately has same features too check it out , nice presentation too
I mentioned that myself. SMK sells this gun under three different names; The Diana Chaser (not sure whats going on with their not including two magazines like the others though), the Victory and Artemis CP2 :)
same as the smk victory cm2 comes with pistol , rifle.barrel, but stock , 2.magazine.,silencer (fits pistol and rifle.barrel) £160. 5.8 ft-lb pistol. 8 to 9 ft-lb for rifle.set up..
Tyler, your chasers in .22 Cal must have dirty barrels for such poor accuracy. Maybe there's some metal burrs in the breach or crown that need cleaning out. Other videos I've seen these guns putting pellet on pellet and in .22. !!
These are truly a great plinking ( an other!! ) CO2 pistol. Plenty of power, amazing in fact. I don't have a reliable Chronograph to check the fps, but it does hit with a considerable whack. I also like the fact that you can relieve the CO2 gas in case you need to store it for a while. Nothing's perfect, as they say, and this Chaser does have a little annoyance for me,.it's that tail end of the hand grip,..for my hand, it digs into the 'heel' of my hand. That's just me I know, but I wonder, does anybody else have this complaint? Yes, I'd but another in the carbine stock feature,..that should be a good way to shot too.
I Just Purchased this rifle Kit, and got it yesterday and Noticed that the Rifle Barrel, at the beginning has 2 outside O Ring,s, But doe,s Not have an Inner O Ring? Do I have to take it out of the Pistol Barrell or is it in the little bag that came with some extra Orings for the Outside of the barrel or is that Oring for the inside chamber for the C02, if so do you know where I can Order a O Ring for the Barrel?? Thank You!!! I Bought the .177 Cal Model!!! :) :)
I agree, it is a VERY accurate gun. It can take a little effort to zero in on the target but once you do, the accuracy is GREAT, break it in a little and that great evolves to FANTASTIC! I just finished sighting in my red/green dot and at 15 yards, I hit within a dime consistently. PERFECT for pest control!
Goodbye Diana, we'll remember the model 27 of our youths and that the 52 was as accurate as a TX200 at nearly twice the power as you burn on the pyre of greed and Chinese crap Keep the faith Weihrauch
Why is the Bolt moving each time its fired. That shouldnt happen. Just saying. I think the Crosman 2240 gives you much more bang for your buck and they are proven to last a lifetime or 2... I just wish Crosman would get on board with a easy spring loaded multi-shot mag for the 2240 instead of forcing us to stay with single loading or having to buy a VERY Overpriced and sometimes pain in the rear to get Aftermarket multi-shot breech etc... Also i know that you can do some valve work and a few other things to this gun to get a added 100-120fps off top but even that isnt all that great and stock out of the box as is and IMO this gun is WAYYYY Under Powered for anything but plinking when all and all i think most if us would find it more useful for pesting etc... Thats why I just suggest going with the xMan 2240. You can do much more with it. This gun could be promising i think they just dropped the ball on it by adding all the little frills etc. When i think they could have produced a much better product if they would have focused more on the actual gun itself and how it functions as far as power and accuracy etc... Thats just me being picky and comparing it to a classic all old time favorite of course. For the price you really cant beat this gun if its made decent enough just to last and hold up to some semi ruff use. Also a great starter for youngsters. I dont think its a bad gun or waste of money at all. Seems like a good buy... ...Well, That is DEPENDING What you want it for... ~
I couldn't agree more. I've got way too much invested in my 2240 set up to consider something that's very similar yet not near as aesthetically pleasing in my opinion or as powerful.
I have both 2240 and the Artemis CP2 (rebranded as Diana Chaser in the US). Honestly i dont know if the diana version is diferent, my bolt handle isnt like that. Also from what i've read online the Chaser comes with no spare mags and the supressor is fixed. However, the big barrel easily reached 510 fps with no modifications, i dont know why the american version has such a large spread. Maybe he damaged the orings instaling the barrel? those are quite thin and fragile. The transfer port might not be aligned too, with mine i took it down and fixed the barrel looking directly into the breech
There is an o-ring fit into the breach end of the barrel that will fall out when swapping barrels. I have shot 500 rounds thru my chaser rifle and got much higher chronograph results, like with Crosman 14.3 destroyers I got a 15 shot average of 541 fps and between 9-10 fpe yesterday. H&n 11.9 grain hobby pellets even shot as high as 585 fps! That little o-ring isn't mentioned in the manual and in reviews like this one.
It's more or less the same as the smk victory only the victory is better value for money they only do the rifle kit so exerlent value for money and it comes in real tree
Fps,price, realistic look, Automatic or semi automatic That's what I look for.. Hatsan 25 supercharge air pistol. 177.vortex. Brian Trujillo you can covert it... on pyramid air there’s a review and a customer image that shows how they converted the damn thing! Pretty solid platform in terms of modifications I just wish there was a bigger community and more aftermarket parts for these like stocks, tanks, triggers, bolts, breaches, etc. But overall pretty sweet gun. Can’t wait for it to arrive.
If you pull it out that way the gasket is not going to last long . Before you change barrels a drop of oil on the gasket . And take care of the gasket in the barrel that its inside and that you do not loose it . Without you cannot load. The small Window is there to See if a cardrige is inside but also to blow of Gas if you need to . Bad vidio .
thats the best intro ive ever seen for any pellet gun video
I purchased one on e Bay and i have to say, it's a good gun very accurate. I love it.

All Diana guns are great values and very accurate; I own several.

Great video,..you've covered all the bases too.
What a great pistol/rifle to teach with!

Great review Tyler. Neat little CO2 pistol and rifle. I like it a lot. I love your airgun reviews Tyler.
RIght on, love it. Can't believe I been out of the game so long didn't see these guy pretty much clock everything I wanted in an air pistol: butt stock and extended rifle, and shot magazine on a co2 armament.
I love that I can use the grip and stock plus the longer barrel on my Diana Bandit and make it a wicked lightweight truck gun/carbine.
Looks like a SMK Victory CP2 copy, sold in the U.K. for some time! Exactly the same but now called Diana!
same gun, same supplier, different brand to accomodate location.
Diana seems to be predominantly US, Victory seems to be UK based, Artemis seems to be predominantly Europe based

Best one I've seen on this gun by a country mile.

Thank you, James! Will pass it on to Tyler!

O ye the smk comes with two mags and a tray a d the serpreser can be used in pistol and rifle it's better I think
Thorough review. Now I want one

Cool video! Thanks for showing! Hope i can test this in my channel soon! Best regards from germany!
Something wrong here with your accuracy test, the rifle set up will put a full .177 mag through a 1/2 inch hole at 20 yards.
Each time it was fired as a pistol the bolt handle would bounce up & down. When fired as a rifle it remained still with no movement. What would cause that .
Tighten the screws a bit
Very nice video! I just ordered this myself :) reminds me of the SV98 sniper rifle
muy buen video...me agrada el profesionalismo y realidad que hacen los videos...siempre los veo... saludos desde Puerto Rico
That rifle version looks like a; Takedown Rodent sharp shooter kit...The pistol is also unique for mice...
Really good though review Tyler ! Thanks
😎👍🏻

so I take it the usa never got the smk victory cp2 because this is the exact same gun!!!
I mentioned that myself. SMK sells this gun under three different names; The Diana Chaser (not sure whats going on with their not including two magazines like the others though), the Victory and Artemis CP2 :)
Compare with crosman2240, which one is better?

Very helpful review.
is it more accurate than the qb78
Not possible to answer that question. How about - they are about the same?
At 30 meters, who is accurate in .117, the Diana Chaser or Diana Trailscout? I want to buy one of them
on smk cp2 you can just take the silencer and put it on the pistol
swap that extended barrel for the one from the Diana Bandit and you would have a sweet little carbine
These are truly a great plinking ( an other!! ) CO2 pistol. Plenty of power, amazing in fact. I don't have a reliable Chronograph to check the fps, but it does hit with a considerable whack.

but I wonder, does anybody else have this complaint?
Yes, I'd but another in the carbine stock feature,..that should be a good way to shot too.
I noticed the pistol’s bolt would unlock during the trigger pull tests. Any idea why?
Can you buy the rifle parts separate if you already own a chaser?
hello for rabbit hunting, how is it? Will it reach about 20 to 25 meters?
I wonder how this would shoot the hades
I Just Purchased this rifle Kit, and got it yesterday and Noticed that
the Rifle Barrel, at the beginning has 2 outside O Ring,s, But doe,s Not
have an Inner O Ring? Do I have to take it out of the Pistol Barrell or
is it in the little bag that came with some extra Orings for the
Outside of the barrel or is that Oring for the inside chamber for the
C02, if so do you know where I can Order a O Ring for the Barrel?? Thank
You!!! I Bought the .177 Cal Model!!! :) :)
Is there a barrel band for it?
Not keen on the zero being lost, when you take off the pistol rear sight.
You had a dud. Every review said it’s incredibly accurate
In the uk this is known as the smk, cp2 cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Wich scope do you use ?
Anybody knows the size of the threads on the tip of the barrel?
Cool airgun.
Any differences to all cp2 or a straight copy??
same gun, same supplier, different brand :)
do u get pistol and rifle parts or is that separate
Does the Chaser Rifle have greater accuracy over the Pistol?
Why the velocity fluctuations with the rifle?
I was wondering if the barrel was seated loosely?
how long does the CO2 last?
I have the pistol version and I'm interested in rifle conversion (stock only) but cannot find anywhere??
Also familiar with buck-rail options (might do that) but was curious as to why standard stock not available.
That's a question for the current Diana importer, but I haven't seen the stocks on their own in quite some time.
Buck Rail makes awesome stuff, and would be a great option.
Never go full rifle?
Very good video Sir.I would like to ask you something, can I put the HW. supressor in that pistol?
The pistol version, yes you could. Assuming the HW suppressor is available where you live.
Thank you.
The thread is 10mm, I have a converter on mine to make it 1/2 unf. Then pretty much all suppressors will fit
You were very helpfull thank you Sir
Hi plzz mak a video of the the cz 75p07
I want this
Where can I buy the front sight for the .22
Why didn't they just put one type of screw on rear sight? Its stupid on designer part. And bolt is on the wrong side. Wtf?
looks realy similar to the Crossman 2240, isn´t it?
Yes, that's the point
Goodbye Diana, we'll remember the model 27 of our youths and that the 52 was as accurate as a TX200 at nearly twice the power as you burn on the pyre of greed and Chinese crap
Keep the faith Weihrauch
If it works well, who cares. And I'll take a nice 30-50% discount for that any day.
Its a fun gun tho play with

That little o-ring isn't mentioned in the manual and in reviews like this one.
can this gun kill a sake
really distrust China manufacturing. But love the look of the gun and a nice review.
It's a .22 call pistol.
its not a bloody diana, lol. its an smk victory cp2
It's more or less the same as the smk victory only the victory is better value for money they only do the rifle kit so exerlent value for money and it comes in real tree
Alemania? hecha en China .... Onix, Artemis, ecetera,,,, se vende en 60 dolares.

25 supercharge air pistol.
177.vortex.
But ammo is extremely hard to obtain due to in my sellers panflit the ammo code is not on the ammo listing of Vol 14 of pyramid air code pc-3419

The world's most powerful air pistol.
I'd put that right next to the umarex hammer :-)
2020..it's not patented I just literally came up with it like nun.
One 12 gram co2 last one spinner mag..eight rounds
800.oo a pistol. I'd buy two.
...but that's all I'd be willing to pay for one.
I figure it's a lot smaller that a rifle and cheaper to make but one in its class..I'd pay 800.oo a piece no thought about it but not a penny more unless stander shipping is required but 1,600.oo c'mon it's gonna have free shipping lol
you are bother of Peter Parker ?
They need to make them in pcp 👍
Bad vidio .
no engañen por favor.
I love your videos, but could you give the comedy bit at the start of the video , A Miss..just wasn't funny
