I think I might get a Liberty starting to really like the look of it. on another subject ,,When I took my motorcycle safety course the old dude who was the instructor went on and on about countersteering so much that he made it seem like some kinda magical mysticism, that had students so confused .I had a mc before so I was just like uh huh whatever. It does not work if you are going too slow , we had students turning the wrong way for turns because he is telling them about if you press this way you go the opposite way, not at 10 mph , lol
AHAHAHA yeah the whole concept of counter steering sounds counter productive (no pun intended 😅) I can see the confusion. Definitely need to be moving for it to apply. I can see all the students going the wrong way around the cones LOOLL ↩️

I am looking into getting a piaggio liberty, and I have seen a lot about needing to know how to drive a bicycle (I have never used a scooter/motorcycle before). Is this just a normal, unpowered bicycle or something like an electric bicycle?
The Piaggio I feel is even easier than an electric e bike because the seating position is very neutral, like sitting in a chair..it's very light and very balanced and stable

Hi bro that's weird, on a Vespa the rear break lever is on the left and the right for the front, are you saying the Piaggio it's the opposite?
It's very strange, I've seen some American Piaggio Liberty models vs EU models have the right lever as front brake but some it's the rear brake. It makes no sense. I'd double check with your local dealer when you pick up yours 😵💫

You brake with both brakes rear and front you just brake with the front let me know how that works out at.50mph and you jam the front.brake.
I hear ya brother🤙Typically, at higher speeds I'll start with the front brake, then ease on the rear if I need that extra oomph.
@@roadsterrevolution you want to start with the rear brake don't start with the front I seen to many accidents and not good you will flip if you got to do that in a hurry
@@ironhead320 this scooter has ABS only on the front tire tho. If I slam on the rear it may lock up. Definitely don't want to be slamming on either if possible. Flipping over the handlebars is a no no 😅
What's the weight limit on these?
I couldn't find this specific model but a similar Vespa 150cc can hold 582 lbs 🤟
My Liberty 125 ABS is rated for 290 kg (639 lb) of maximum load including its own 124 kg (273 lb) weight. That leaves 166 kg (366 lb) of total load on the bike.
How strange, it has the rear brake left side in Europe
