With all that light coming off the weapon you'd think that this would a faith scaled weapon, but nah. It's got strength, dex, and int of all things. I showcase both versions. I think the lord one is better because of the combo of light hits, where the meteor shower is ok i guess. I don't have a int build so I can't really test it. I only got 2 larval tears left and I wanna save it for a boss that walls me or something. Good luck beating the final boss to get this. Enjoy!
@RobMills-r3eduplicate the Remembrance, either in the wandering mausoleum (with the bell for this remembrance) or in the dlc there are some coffers around the map that do the same stuff.
This was puzzling to me too. I thought for sure light would have faith scaling instead of int

These weapons should be 1 weapon and the aow would put you into a stance where you can do either attack

The multi hit aow can just be nerfed in terms of poise damage and damage for the aow, and the dash aow, ucan roll forwards twice

I know that there’s 3 coffins in the land of shadow where you can duplicate rememberances, there’s 1 at each the finger ruins if you know where those are. Just look up duplication coffins to find them

lol i kinda somewhat wish this worked like rellana's blades where pressing L2 put you in a stance and spamming R1 did one ash of war and charging R2 did the other but i can see why they didn't do that because it'd simply be the best pvp weapon ever made but it would've been really cool right?

It could of still worked with a stance. I use all 3 radhan swords and switch between the 3 during fights and good players dodge the AOW’s consistently as they have slowish wind ups and easily telegraphed.
I was kind of expecting one of the 2 to use bloodflame. If both were to have Holy damage they may as well had done 1 weapom with 2 stances.
It would be cool when you dual wield them they have a different animation

the og radahn swords are very situational. Id say these are better just cause they arent the shortest ugs lol
plus lords greatsword does WAY more damage(the full combo does double the damage with my build) with the same fp cost of the og swords.Its just better

Id does great damage indeed but almost impossible to pull the full combo in fight, In getting trouble even landing the first part without get hit afterwards
@@Nico-nj4ettho the full combo is riskier in fast enemies that don't get staggered easily. It can be pretty rewarding if you either use it at the right time or pop endurance and use it. You can use it while they attack your spirit summon tho
I still dont get needing two different weapons and not do his weapons like rellanas twin blades
They kinda fucked up with this given all the creativity they put into other weapons
-Still has the same general dual greatsword moveset
-Could have made a stance to allow both moves but instead you awkwardly have to chose between one or the other
-Could have at least made us choose between a pair with gravity magic or holy magic.
Cmon from thats just fucking lazy. A dude literally made a mod for the original starscourge sword that is 10x better than this. Its a shame since From NEVER patches weapons to change them completely so we are stuck with this dumb design choice.

Honestly, make them both one weapon, where its a stance that contains weaker versions of these two weapons. And make them light great swords to appear to flow more like this version of the boss

@@MckinleyStlouiswhat do you mean no special animation? Both swords have unique ashes though Light is basic lord sword makes you a tank that does follow up light beams ending with a double slash that throw humanoid enemies into the air. It has the coolest move set out of all weapons to me

Wasted opportunity to have a weapon with both magic & sacred damage. Don't know if it would have been good but at least it would have been more unique and cool. I was expecting it to be a dual heavy curved swords, too. Doesn't really feel like the ultimate weapon of elden ring, just more like a mod to me, that's too bad. DLC is still absolutely amazing though
the only wasted opportunity here is it not having both moveset like how rellanas sword is all they had to do is combine both weapons and let use use a stance and chose one or the other R2 but nah

Buddy it literally is dual heavy curved swords. Also the model isn’t the same. The design right above the hilt is different. And faith scaling with all the other scaling is too much stat points. It would’ve been better if they just made it faith instead of int, and made it scale more with strength and faith.
All you had to do was show the weapon art skills, dude. Ffs.

No you are in the wrong here. Lord version description mentions follow up attacks. The Light versions says "Will be followed by an additional light attack" as in the beams of light raining down, charging it spawning more beams

yep int weapon so its int scaling on the ash it seems

@Rubhen925 if you travel around the land at night you can see blue glowing gravestones that give you more larva tears. Found 3 in the starting area. Get them back up!
Any advice for a build I wanna try them out ?
Just go balls deep on strength and keep int on 15 since it's E scaling

@@rafaeeeeeellplay around with dex when you’re changing your stats. You can see the damage go up and down. It’ll be R1 armament, you can go hard cap strength at 60 and play around between dex and strength since at some point it’ll go up more with dex.
@@fumeking701 No, its D scaling. Atleast upgrade the weapons before talking about their attribute scaling. Most weapons scalings get higher when you upgrade them.

I liked infected rdahans blades more , these new blades deal holy like damage but requires intelligence, besides it doesnt fit its theme
How do you do the follow up attack on the radahn light skill does it not work?
You press the AoW button again I quick succession to activate the follow up.

Probably yet another bugged or blatantly overlooked mechanic to go with the entirety of the DLC's ending. There should be a follow up according to the description.

As a Strength / INT user the Lord version is a dream come true for me, with the right build I can get near 10k damage off a full combo with some poise break too

The ashes for them are cool, but these feel like such wasted potential, especially considering they're from the very last boss we'll ever see in ER.
They should have made it just one version, given them a unique, more flashy moveset (they could have literally just copied the ringed knight paired greatswords from DS3), and made the ash a stance that let's you do both skills.
Its honestly very confusing why from didnt just make these a singlular weapon with a stance mode

Int
AoW damage scales with Str/Dex/Int but seems to get more damage from physical investment, Int doesn't seem to boost it much. No holy damage whatsoever but it does get boosted by the magic tear physick

You can duplicate the remembrance of Radahn in the 3 coffins hidden in the Shadow Lands. There are the 2 swords and a Miquella incantation.

So I’m dual wielding the light and lord Radhan swords and for some reason I have them in both my hands but they’re like on my back too. Can anyone explain this?
They never fixed the issue where this weapon doesn't have 1 handed attacks while dual wield. So fucking weird
It's actually better in this scenario because now you can do the Sekiro deflect with these, making it a top tier weapon for PVE
three... three swords with the same FUCKING DUALWIEALDING ANIMATIONS, and the annoying part is that it's just the average powerstance animation of colossal swords, there's nothing original coming from them, besides the AoW... but that doesn't compensate.
i was already dissapointed to see the first paired swords having that atrocious attack, but now seeing THREE of them with the same moveset... i'm really mad...
I really hate that these are collosals. I hope they will be curved greatsworts...

You can still get it, just kill one of those big stone island things and duplicate the rememberance. You can even do it after you’ve already used it!

Thought that was a nice QOL addition (it also works for any remembrance from the base game, even if you no longer have it in your possession)

This whole boss fight made me think why did him an Melania really fought, was she jealous her brother chose Radahn an why Miquella abandoned Melania like Marika did Messmer.
They fought cause Malenia must kill Radahn in order to Miquella take her soul and uses on Mogh corpse. Radahn should die and Malenia is the only demigod that haver some chance to do It. Aparently Miquella knew all this things from the beggining, cause Malenia whisper to Radahn "Miquella awaits you" on the base game cutscene.

For playstation controllers you gotta press triangle then either L1 or R1 depending on which hand they are currently in, it's Y + either LB/RB for xbox and E+ left/right click for pc.
It's E + LMB for me on PC, if that's default

Can anyone conjure a level 150 build for this sword
Standard strength build with minimal points in intelligence. Enough endurance so you don’t heavy roll, 55-60 vigor, 18 mind, 24 dex, and if you have anything left over invest in faith until level 25 so you can buff with golden vow. Optionally, you can opt to go to 16 faith to buff with flame grant me strength and use the golden vow ash of war on a side dagger instead. I’ve been playing around with both swords for a while and they don’t seem great but they are definitely cool

It really annoys me how we will never truly get a boss’ weapon or skill. Its always some dumb downed shittier version of what we fought for. What is the point of getting their stuff other than progressing the story? We barely get any runes for defeat leveling up scales everything starting a new game scales everything so wth is the point? We will never be able to fly, never be able to move and continuously move the entire match, cant move fast cant spam giant explosions or huge AOE attacks. None of it EVER! The whole DLC is snoresville to me with only maybe 1 worthy weapon. Beat them all with that giant meat thing and blasphemus blade. So pathetic!
I agree it’s just like a lego marvel game when you beat a boss but when you get the playable character you can’t do anything the boss was doing while fighting them
