Love silver bullet and lost boys but really loved him in Lucas👍🏻👍🏻! You know if you went back in time to 1985 and asked my 15 year old self that in 25 years that cell phones would consume our lives I would’ve laughed at that and said no way….we didn’t need smart phones or the internet back then🤷🏼‍♂️

I was a writer/producer on a Canadian TV show in the late 90s.
We hired Corey as a guest star for an episode at a time when no one else would give him a job. When we were on set, I guess he heard that I was a fan and a big supporter of hiring him. He came over and gave me a big hug. He was so glad to be working again. It was heartbreaking. Poor kid… more than a “lost boy,” he was a lost soul. I hope he found some peace.

His whole family were very close yet people want to say his mother pimped him out to Hollywood. That could not have been FURTHER from the truth. That was Feldman's story. And then Feldman turned dark and creepy himself. I think Corey would still be alive today if not for Feldman.

Feldman wasn't even invited to the funeral after he begged the family to turn it into a reality show... Starring HIM.... He is a disgusting opportunist riding the memory of a dead child actor who he was insanely jealous of. That is the problem with Feldman and the idiots who believe him, he is just playing to the pedophile conspiracy algorithm on the internet.

@@user-nG980 They weren't friends. They worked together and Feldman resented it. Feldman was an insecure bully to Haim because Haim got LEADING roles and all the attention from all the girls. Then the horrible reality tv show came along which Feldman used to exploit Haim's addiction and instability. As well as promote Feldman's sobriety and maturity....It was there that Haim ON AIR unleashed his fury onto Feldman about Feldman's friend DOMINIC BRASIA who molested Haim. Feldman knew about it and did nothing. All the rest of the crap about "the rape of two coreys".... Feldman made up after Haim's death because he knows the internet crowd LOVES pedophile stories.

I was on the patio smoking a cig when someone in front of me turned around and...it was corey haim. I freaked out for a sec. But I said how much i loved his movies and that I grew up together with him. He was super nice and really humble. You could tell he was on something tho. It was sad. He looked really out of it. But shaking his hand meant a lot. Growing up in Germany in the 80s, his movies were a huge part of my life. I always adored the US. So in 1993 i moved to LA. My dream felt complete after meeting him. His mother and his sister were on the set with him EVERY DAY until he was 18 years old! They were a CLOSE family and they loved him very much. She BEGGED him to press charges against his attacker but he wouldn't. SO F YOU for telling lies about dead people who cant defend themselves so you can spank it to child predator stories. FELDMAN was responsible for what happened to Haim. He BROUGHT the predator TO HIS HOUSE. I bet you conveniently dont know ANYTHING about that do you? He did die of pneumonia. His body obviously had been ravaged by long term drug abuse, because his heart was enlarged, making him susceptible to respiratory failure. I grew up with the two Corey’s. Haim is definitely my favorite and always seemed like a genuine, sweet guy. I’d heard that one time a few years before his passing, that he’d done an autograph signing, & even though he definitely could have used the money he made from it, he instead donated the proceeds to help an animal shelter. It really broke my heart when I learned this, and cemented the fact that he was a genuinely good soul. I’d always heard he loved animals. When I heard that he’d wander around his apartments, looking for anyone just to talk to, it made me so sad. I wish he could have realized the impact that he made on so many of us 80s babies. I’m sure so many of us would have been thrilled to just hang out and shoot the breeze with him. He was and is still very loved. I hope he’s found peace on the other side. ❤🕊

I lived in Mexico City in the 80s. I watched two of his movies : Silver Bullet and The Lost Boys. The last one was really something else. I remember that he was in all the American teen magazines that made their way to Mexico along with Kirk Cameron. He was also a superstar and an inspiration to what the concept "cool" was ,down there. 👍-He couldn't get the help that he really needed. The drugs were only a reflection of the real problem. He suffered from demonic oppression caused by the sexual abuse he suffered when he was a boy and a teen. He could have recovered and healed if he had gotten those tormenting entities out of his mind and soul. Unfortunately, he only got psychological help which was useless.

I remember hearing about Corey's death and, sadly, not being surprised. I'd known he'd had drug problems in his past and assumed that was the cause. The fact that it was sickness that had killed him didn't soften the blow.
He was in some of my favorite movies of my late childhood and adolescent years. I think Lucas was the first one I saw with him in it. I watched that one in the theater back in 1986 and related to Lucas. I remember getting a weird feeling when that different looking girl started cozying up to Lucas. That girl was played by none other than Winona Ryder. I just watched this movie again last week on a streaming channel for the first time since '86, and it was amazing how much that movie had become indelible in my memory. I, like Lucas, wanted to be somebody in school. I wanted people to know me, but I felt shy and invisible. Lucas is an overlooked '80s underdog story, and deserves more mention.
It's funny that I had just seen that movie and you guys visit Corey Haim's grave. Perhaps the dead want us to remember them always. Happy Halloween as always 🎃
