I absolutely love My 2020 Evora GT. Got it 3 weeks ago from Lotus of Naples. Went with the Sky Blue with carbon package and the 6 speed manual transmission which is really the only way to go. Truly a drivers car in this age of electric vehicles. I would much prefer to drive it then it drive me. 😂😂.
@6:34 "Linear" lol that's how the power band felt to me when I drove an Mr2 with the same engine. Can't imagine a supercharged version 😢 Congrats on the car! its one of my long term goals 👌
Andy good review. Glad you ended up liking it. I just put my deposit down today on the Evora successor called the Emira. Had a Porsche Boxster and wanted something more driver focused and rare.
Very cool!! I recently got a 2018 Red Evora 400 with only 2000 miles on it for $85K. Not the GT, but the differences are not huge. The sound is great! Enjoy brother!
I've been buying Lotus exotics new, from dealers, since 1996, and just bought the (U.S. version, not California, a 49-state model) Evora GT. Most powerful Lotus I've driven. For only $116k (carbon pack etc) it is a stunning bargain for an exotic. It's a very exclusive vehicle. Porsche is a generic ride. I'm sorry, there is zero exclusivity with that brand. They're as common as a Ford Mustang or a Dodge Challenger. I'll be buying the new Lotus Evira when it comes out. I hope they reconsider abandoning gas engines. Part of the novelty appeal of a mid-engined exotic is the engine noise right behind you. .
Awesome. Just picked up a ‘21 last month. Enjoyed every minute of it
We need more people buying Lotus!! Great review.

I'm legit considering getting a Lotus Evora! Your review was awesome man.

“Hope I like it?” Scary words to utter when describing a 100k purchase
I want to get one 😭. I live with lots of curvy roads so I know this car would fit perfectly in my life

Welcome to the itch that will forever need scratching. ....I own 2 now
Great report on the Lotus!
love how this toyota 3.5 V6 sounds - great job lotus.
Congrats man. I am looking at one. If you don't mind what kind of discount did you get. Just trying to gage what I should ask for
Love the review! Music was a bit distracting though
Did you happen to sell this car?!
I can hear the exhaust 👍
😃
You could have waited a year and bought the Emira; a better car for less money.
With more electronics and potentially, more problems in the future. It's a tradeoff.
Bad sound and music
