It takes hours for me to source the material Steve but restoring the music tracks is what takes the longest. The video process takes several days depending on what software is used to make it. I have a new post going live tomorrow and this is with a new software program. I noticed a couple oops but I expected that with this new software. Thank you for watching the channel.
This is truly wonderful. My friend of 95 years of age has just died and I am listening to this music in honour of her. My friend Eileen would have loved this music. In fact I am sure she is listening to this music in heaven. Thankyou so very much for generously sharing this healing and very uplifting music Susan in new Zealand
I really enjoy this kind of music, and although I most certainly wasn't around then, these songs speak to me of much more simple times. Perhaps they really weren't -- what with the Great Depression and all -- but these great song writers and musicians certainly seemed to be able to put a "brighter view" on life and love. Thank you, Pax41, for the truly great job you've done with organizing and posting these. I'd like to see a song list and some brief bios on the artists. How about it, Pax41? Reg B.
Not sure I follow you on the song list. Do you mean a list of recordings they made? If so, The Honking Duck is a good site for that information. The bio info may be possible if I can find info on them. I have been scanning photos and articles from old magazines I have purchased to use on the posts. I think some of those will give background on the artists. Thank you for your input!
Another fine selection, track one being a particular favourite of mine (I especially like the Alan Kane version, which I find pure magic) but Sam Browne does a fine job here also. Mr Al Bowlly is also always a joy to listen to. Cyril Grantham, Sam Costa, Anne Lenner and Phyllis Robins all sounding in fine voice here also.

Thanks for yet another wonderful posting...you’ve put a lot of time and effort into synchronising pics with the music. Bravo from Australia. 👍

Thank you for this wonderful music. It makes me so happy listening to this peaceful music. More please.
Glad you enjoy it!
"Peaceful" is a fine adjective describing 30s music and it is such. However, I feel the dreamy music of the 30s is even better. Cheers!
Many British bands had such distinct, refined style... thank you for sharing several of them! This was wonderful.
Ah, a quiet afternoon in Oxford, circa 1933! Thank you.

Pax41: Your latest podcast "Christmas Music" is not available because it´s is a "private video". Can you fix it?. Thanks.
I have an issue to resolve on that video. Once I can get it fixed it will appear.
What kind of the songs, pls? (sorry for my English)
"Mrs Jack Hylton"?! What was her real name? This is typical of the period.
This was Jack Hylton's first wife, Ennis Parkes.
JACK PAYNE 🤔

Thank you for your service! Glad you are enjoying the music!
Sorry, the question is: are you sure this is Phyllis Robins?
I was told by a friend that she is the vocalist on this recording.
According to the British Dance Band discography the vocalist is Phyllis. Rust rarely made mistakes with the British sides.
Thanks
I don´t like Al Bowllys singing.
Thanks again.
