Hello everyone! It seems that to some people I am making fun of or hating on beginner artists in this video- I would like to clarify that I did not at all mean to do so. If you are offended by the way I talk please click of of this video and just don’t watch it. This was made purely for entertainment purposes and not to be taken seriously- and it was stated as so in the video.
To all beginner artists:
If you do any of the things in this video please do not be discouraged! If you like to do any of the things in this video please keep doing them! The only opinion that matters about your art is your OWN! So don’t listen to what I’m saying and please just base you’re art on what you like to do ❤ I am truly sorry if I hurt anyone in this video- but I will not be discontinuing this series- unless I am given a serious reason not to. I hope everyone understand and is ok with this. I haven’t really made a video like this before and am actually quite put off by people’s concerns about me and my commentary. Once again, I apologize and hope you understand where I am coming from. I never meant ANY harm in this video and am I sure what to do next. Thank you to anyone who read this- I would be happy to hear your insight on this matter as I’ve never experienced it before- just please be nice about it. Thanks- and I hope everyone has a nice day ❤

Gah I’m sooo guilty of the airbrush thing 🫣 I keep telling myself I’m not gonna do it because I hate how smuggy and messy it looks and somehow I keep giving in! Anyone have tips on how to avoid this? (Also as someone still learning how to draw I PERSONALLY was not offended in any way that you brought up some habits most of us do when learning digital drawing)
I’m glad you were ok with this video! Personally I would suggest u just attempt one drawing without using the airbrush and see how it goes^^ u can still of course use airbrush in drawings but trying to draw completely without it for a bit could maybe help you decide on which shading technique actually works best for you? Hopefully this helps- I’m not an expert 😅

It's kinda unrelated but I really used to hate the symmetry, it doesn't work on humans at all ! And I agree. But I recently created an angel character and they're also kinda creepy and uncanny. And uncanniness can be a nice tool for storytelling so I've turned them into this "perfect creepy angel creature" :D
Kinda like the angel Gabriel from the Mandela Catalogue
The angel sounds so cool! I could see how symmetry would work well with it:)

You don't understand the airbrush tool is my BIGGEST ENEMY! EVERYTIME I USE THAT THING IT LOOKS MUDDY ASF- i swear everytime i see a airbrush tool on ibispaint or anywhere else i immediately get an ick and stay 5 meters away from it 😭
So real of u 😭😭😭 atp i can only use it for like rlly low opacity overlays and that’s it 😭 im so jealous of the people that have an art style where airbrushing actually looks good lol

personally, yes. ik they're learning and i cant expect them to be good at something immediately, but that doesnt mean im not allowed to laugh at how goofy it looks
