Scott is the official art grandpa while Sam is the art dad. 😂 Scott teaches us about traditional art, watercolor, gouache, does storytimes, and stuff like that, while Sam teaches us about digital, rendering, other digital Art Gods, and references. Both are very useful. Also....COLLAB, NOW!

Scott is the honest most best artist I've ever seen. His tutorials explain alot. Especially the one teaching you to break down shapes and draw what you see. His motivating words of what art is, the beauty of art, It really comes together and motivates me to draw.
I’ve been following Scott since his days making The Dreamland Chronicles… that was back when I didn’t know that he was as much of an artist with pen and paper as he was with 3-D rendering. I’m so happy he continued his craft on TH-cam and that you’re exposing him to your awesome audience. I love his message. Rather than detailing the process, he just says there _is_ a process and yours is yours alone.

When Scott say that he used to be Snarky and cynical before he became a father. It should be pointed out that Bob Ross used to be a Master Sargent in the Air-Force stationed in Alaska and he was such a mean Mother-f that would continually Scream and Curses to the Enlisted men. He realized the unhealthy nature of his job doing to his psyche that when he Left from service, he promised to himself to never ever shout, scream, curse or be nasty to anyone for the rest of his life.😊

I raise my cup of coffee to you sir for doing a video highlighting Scott and his talents. Scott is so relatable, he makes art that I can immediately tell is Scott's work, and yet he too struggles with imposter syndrome. Yea, I used to be pretty angry when I was younger but I had to learn to have the mindset that peace would bring better experiences in my daily life than becoming angry over every little thing that goes wrong. After I changed my mindset, I began to see my life from a different perspective and honestly things changed for the better,,,there is not really a way to avoid becoming angry over something because people have emotions, it’s what makes us human, but you do have some control over those emotions

Jokes aside, I think children really do change your life. My sister's and I are very close (we actaully all live on the same property even though we're all adults) and my oldest sister is married and pregnant. The closer she gets to term the more I've thought about who am I and who I want my nephew to see me as. He's not even my baby and he's not even here yet, but it's had me hardcore rethinking my priorities, the way I live my life and even how I talk. I didn't even notice it until you brought it up. Kinda crazy and amazing how the little people make can make such a big change just by existing ✨
I always used Scott’s tips and tools he recommended and it really helped improve my art and self esteem. Love you Scott thanks for being our art grandpa

I found him when he was doing his "studying the masters" series and he is SUCH an inspiration on so many levels. His hobbit hole is probably one of the coolest remodeled spaces I've ever seen. I prefer traditional art over digital but I love learning from both artforms. Love how your art of him turned out. :)

I remember hearing once that if you draw something and you think it's off or something about it is wrong that it means you're improving. You can now identify when something isn't quite right so now you can improve upon it. Which makes a negative feeling into something positive!
