- Get a look at Queens Of The Stone Age guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen's guitar rig for the 2024 End Is Nero Tour. Baxter and company are in Raleigh, NC for the QOTSA show going over Troy's rig for the 2024 Tour. Check out his Echopark Guitars and the GMI Amps as well as his pedal rig!
Everyone probably pausing during the pedalboard part trying to look across the stage at the other pedalboard😂
Yeah Josh Is way to secret about his stuff 😂
Queens of the Stone Age at the Vegas Sphere using visuals by Boneface would be insane.
Macabre like you wouldn't believe
A rig rundown on QOTSA’s bassplayer would be nice too!
Search Board to death Ep.9 Michael Schuman, video was during the villains album era
We love Rig-Rundowns, and you're a natural Bax! I'm listening to QOTSA right now on a different tab. "Live at festival Rock Werchter 2023"
A really great show! I have a playlist on my channel called "CONCERTS!!! (play loud or die)" and Rock Werchter 2023 is one of them!
Thank you and also thank you for sharing that as well. Keep on killing it out there:)!
@@CasinoGuitars Wait, how did you know? (that I was a killer) I thought my blues attorney had my record sealed?! lolin'
Great behind the scenes video!!! ✌️❤️🎸
Thank you Surinder, he was a ton of fun and a pure gent the whole day!
Saw QOTSA at the O2 in London. Awesome
Thanks, y'all 🤘🔥🤘🔥🤘
That was fun!
Pretty amazing fella there and thank you for watching!
I just adore the tasty licks Troy plays!
My favorite bad of all time!! Thanks for the video
Like fantastic interview, asked the questions we were thinking of,
Happy to see Casino doing rig rundowns! I’m in for this!
Love this video. I went to Raleigh last year to see them but it got rained out so saw them in Portsmouth a year later where it also rained but the show went on!
Great Interview Gentlemen.Beautiful De Leon and cool Echopark Explorer type body Guitar. Love those Vintage Amp Designs, too! On Par with warmth, sweetness ,and style Mr . Troy!👍😁🌟
When he chucked that Clarence on stage it was crazy!!
man I wish he still used that deluxe it’s my favorite one out of all of his guitars
I can't wait to see the lads in Rome!
Love you guys together
Great video with a great artist. I love his last line, “ you guys I don’t know about” Lololol
I'm all about these videos!
Love that pedal board!
OMG Baxter. Your cool level just went supernova. I saw them in VA two weeks ago on the rail in front of Troy. Amazing show, amazing band, amazing player.
Hell yes!!
Agreed!
Sick rundown, shame you couldn't dive into the weirder guitars that I've seen him use on this tour. Saw them in Perth this year, absolutely insane show, they played Mexicola for a fan who said it was their birthday. Such a cool band with a unique vibe and seem to be generally down to earth dudes.
Best Rig Rundown, ever.
Damn, I love that blue guitar!
Hell yeah, Baxter! TVL is the man!
Love Queens! Saw them again in Saskatoon last month, front and center… Best band on the planet!!!
Awesome video! That’s one of the most complicated boards I’ve ever seen.
I'm more of a Jazz guy, Miles, Jaco & Weather, Danny Gatton. But agreed, Troy is the Best Rocker, Down to Earth & great player!❤🎸
Shout out from Asheville
Right on and thanks for the love to Troy there!
Great vid Baxter! Your humor is cool.
I know Josh H's gear probably remains in secret but I really thought your charm would sway his mystique.
Oh well. Keep it up!
That was cool....should have went through more geetars but it was fun,,thanks Casino Crew
I love his artist series Jazzmaster Fender’s got. I even got one in the Oxblood color as my first “real” Jazzmaster. I say real because I also have the Jazzmaster Acoustasonic. Which isn’t a Jazzmaster in anyway really besides the shape of it. And I love the shape and feel of Jazzmaster’s. They just fit me and feel right in my hands.
I love that oxblood Jazzmaster too. God its so beautiful.
Troy is the coolest guitarist in the world today!
I have a Sky King/Ampeg VT40. When I use both in A/B I rarely use pedals outside EQ stuff to cut stuff and push mids. Once I really got into the Ampeg EQ controls, I found by keeping the pedals fairly low gain, and using them to push other parts the amp wasn’t…really made it sing. If using one amp I’m full on 16 pedals deep lol.
I was fortunate enough to buy one of these guitars was fortunate enough to buy it from Casino Guitars . One of my biggest regrets selling it was more of a have to for financial reason, but if I could get that guitar back, I would they’re truly unique and just about understanding the wood, the type of pick up the tone, one of a kind
Let’s talk about the real star of the video, Baxter’s shoes 🔥🔥🔥
Well, Gabe built me my personal J in 2014, which is a beautiful guitar I use as one of my go to axes in my studio…..
Come to play to León, Spain
They are close I believe!
Nice❤
Baxter looks the part of a Rockstar!!
Great episode. Cool sunglasses Baxter. What brand?
Thanks a ton:) Gooder is the brand I believe:)
ummm where is his signature Jazzmaster
They probably ran outta time. You have to have an appointment to film an entire Rundown.
He was really all about the Echopark that evening! They had two of them and used them a bit during the show but that blue beast really didn't leave his side too often.
Thanks a ton for watching and all the best Bueller (love the handle)!
@CasinoGuitars I've seen a lot of footage from shows over the last year and I don't think he even has one with him on the road.
There’s at least two in his rack x
He still plays it live but lately all of QOTSA dudes have become Echopark players.
Can someone do a companion series and just talk about all this gear and unpack it for us?
I could have handled another hour of that. ❤
Anyone know the pedal he uses to boost the volume of guitar at the very end of songs? I noticed live how they had this incredible guitar volume boost to end most if their songs. I thought it was a very cool inventive way to King volume surge the ending of songs with a huge period!
That's quite the pedal board.
Nice shoes, Troy.
Who else is just desperately trying to gander at Josh's board from certain camera angles
Troy is allways well dressed
Please show some b roll of him noodling with his pedals during sound check!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any idea on string gauges?
Bro I need to know the EXACT pedals not just fuzz overdrive haha. This is serious busyness
dude, it's a Tele
Metal as foil
Perfect!
@@CasinoGuitars np, cheers from what i would always say "cheers from NZ".
but now ? Grumpy Ptr, waiting to see if he has cancer
@@PeterMoore350good luck dude
@@stevedeyne thx mate. Biopsy in the next 4-6 weeks. Tell all of your male friends - if you're over 45 yo ? Get a blood test to check for PSA markers indicating your prostate is problematic. Prostate cancer is a silent killer. No symptoms, no pain apparently, although an enlarged prostate like mine meas frequent visits to the toilet. If you're black and over 45 ? Get your blood tested. This one goes to 11
Iontach!!
Yes:)
Ummmm.......can we hear any of it ???
Pointy boots is half the sound
he has a decade pedal to sound like himself.
It's Troy effin Van Leeuwen, and you spent almost no time on his effects! Shame, shame.
I concur!!!! Do we have a second?!?!?!?
That's what I was here for and when I saw this and almost turned it off.
Qotsa are very secretive about their pedals!
I don’t use pedals 😂
If Joe Biden played Rock n Roll
Love this video. I went to Raleigh last year to see them but it got rained out so saw them in Portsmouth a year later where it also rained but the show went on!
