Twinsanity is my favourite Crash Bandicoot game ever. It has spot-on, fourth wall breaking humour, wonderful acapella soundtrack from Spiralmouth, the story has a distinct Looney Tunes feel to it (which is pretty good), the artstyle is fantastic and colourful and the gameplay is fun and creative. I had a great blast with the game. If a Twinsanity remake would look like this mod, I'm completely sold my soul to Activision.

Twinsanity and tag team racing were probably to 2 crash games I spent the most time on even though I started with the very first one, those 2 were something special
I hope Beenox can reboot Crash Twinsanity than just make a remaster of it. There was so much of it that was cut in the final product. It's pretty impressive how even though it wasn't completely finished, it still managed to be pretty good. I hope they take their time with it though, I don't want history to repeat itself and have it not be as good as it could have been.
Oh so you progressed with the level editing? I thought the only progress was the extracting of entities into Unity but damn this is whole another level :)
I think the camera needs to be more loose in order to pull off a fluid open world like environment. I’m sure there are limitations as to what can be done in the N. Sane Trilogy’s engine, and this is still nice to see overall.

If they do (unlikely) then they could get Spiral mouth back to do some new acapella tracks alongside the existing ones from the original.

Twin Sanity was never open world, levels weren't literal hallways but were still strictly linear obstacle courses.
The game is linear but you can still explore it freely. It's probably the most linear open world game of all time
