Crash 4 invincibility is very, very rare. I kept dying on purpose just to get 2 masks and go invincible with the third being some random Aku Aku crate in some levels. They could have at least made the masks carry over from level to level
Not only that...the aku-aku in crash 4 doesn't protect you from everything, in the old games, the aku-aku protected you from spikes and other things that can kill the player, but in Crash 4, spikes kill the player in hour, same as Twinsanity.

Twinsanity was the first Crash game i ever played. I remember getting the "invicibility" power and wondering: "Wait, is this the invincibility power? Just like in the Mario games?" then i ran into an enemy and nothing happened and i simply thought: "No it's not. What's even the point of this thing?"

Crash 4 fits the best of the mask power, because these masks represents an entity that protects people or has his own will, so this invencibility power must make the enemies fear crash, making the mask glowing eyes and make wild expressions fits good even with the music.

Wrath of Cortex version was really weak and the Twinsanity one I could never even tell I was in invisibility mode, not just because no theme plays but because a lot of the time the enemies would still harm me...?
Twinsanity has the worst, but I hate CB4's Aku very much, ESPECIALLY on the damn lava in the dino chase level. It would have been nice if the mask knocked away obstacles on the rail grind sections too, but nothing is as bad as those lava sections. I also miss when he just followed Crash rather than spun around him.

They chose to not make it protect you from TNTs so you couldn't just use Aku Aku to skip some of the puzzles for the gems.

There is some easter egg references to sonic the hedgehog and mario on some of the crash bandicoot games. Some of the enemies said, "Italian plumber" and "fast moving hedgehog".
Some of the cortex's assistents have dressed like Mario too

This is why I love video game characters like every video game character has their own little power up that makes them immortal like
When Mario gets a star he becomes immortal for 10 or 20 seconds
When sonic gets all chaos emeralds he becomes a god for 10 or 20 seconds
When pac man eats a power pellet he is able to eat the ghost
And when crash breaks all the aku aku crates he becomes immortal for 20 seconds
Those are the only ones that I know please LEVE me more video game characters that have power that make them immortal because this is the only characters that I know
