The new terminator kits are out for a bit now and I've been having some fun with them. One of the first builds I did was my Hive Mind Librarian, inspired by the Mark Gibbons sketches from '03/'04. I recorded the entire build process which turned out around 9 hours of footage, which I boiled down into several speeded up parts. I might do that as well, but painting is not my favourite part of the hobby so it will probably include too much swearing to be publishable :)

So idea if you decide to expand this into a kill team, what if you replace the head of a power weapon just past the (power box?) with one of the blades wielded by a Tyranid warrior and had some cables coming from the Tyranid to the tech part of the power weapon handle and then more from there into the blade.

Ah, yeah, that would be a cool idea! Stealing guns from Nids might be a bit tougher, but blades should be no problem!

How long do you leave the green stuff to rest before you start using it and do you have a specific ratio?

I immediately use the gs after mixing, no waiting at all. And I never go from the usual 1:1 ratio, but I never really experimented with that. I am still planning to mix with milliput at one time, but haven’t tried it yet.
