I became a Christian in 1993 and this is one of the first songs that helped me Rejoice in God's Sovereign Power and Authority over my Life through Christ Jesus! And I've never regretted it! I Pray you become a Christian for as it is written in John 316-17 God Loves you !❤😊

Something about her voice, its unquavering surety that God is, indeed, "in control"!

@@Faltor895 What makes you say that? I'm tired of seeing so many people being so quick to judge and harshly criticize her over the years.
We should not be so quick to judge others. Why?
Firstly, it's not our place to judge.
God's word clearly instructs us that judgement belongs to him, not us.
Secondly, people have no idea what she has gone through in her life.
People quickly form opinions based on snippets of "data" they see or read from the media over the years.
And many of us know that most of the media out there is highly biased, forming opinions with little to no foundation.
I'm guessing your comment was referring to her divorce 24 years ago? If so, please ask yourself if you really know what she has gone through in her life??
Or are you basing your opinion on snippets of data from the media?
People love to dwell on the negatives they hear about others.
Do you know about the positive impact she has had on people's lives over the years? Her selfless, untiring work helping others in her community and all over the world.
Her "Helping Hands" foundation is one of countless good causes she is involved with.
Anytime I see an interview with her, I am struck by her gentleness, love and honesty.
None of us are perfect. We all have our flaws. I'm fighting my own battles with sin. All of us fall short of God's glory in one way or another.
So let's turn our judgement into prayers for one another 🙏
There's enough judgement and hate in the world right now.
Ultimately, the main root of all the bad stuff that's happening in our world right now comes down to judgement and hatred.
The 1st often leads to the 2nd.
      God bless! 🙏

@@squareapples5118 You're right, I shouldn't judge her, I was wrong. However, we can judge words and actions. I'm not thinking of her divorce really, look at David in the Bible. What troubles me is her support of the LGBTQ movement. I think of her song Thy Word. She is also a famous person and known as a Christian, so she has a greater responsibility not to mislead.Yes, we all struggle with sin, but let's not call evil good and good evil.

@@Faltor895 Thank you for your reply. I appreciate your point of view and respect your opinion, however personally I feel that the level of harshness people are criticizing her with is extremely disproportionate to anything she has said or done.
My understanding of what she said during an interview on a LGBT radio station was that "all are welcome" to commit the lives to God, regardless of orientation.
You are absolutely correct that the Bible doesn't condone homosexuality (by my understanding of 1 Corinintians 6:9)
However, I believe her statement was more to get across that she loves people within the LGBT community, just as God loves them.
Each of these people are God's children.
Lets remember that God hates sin, but he loves the sinner.
On this basis, I don't think that these people should be made to feel that they are excluded from the opportunity to commit to God.
As long as we live, each one of us has the chance to turn our lives around, even the most sinful among us - that is why Jesus died on the cross for us.
I realize it's a fine line between saying that God loves sinners and condoning participation in a sin.
If she were to reject people in the LGBT community, people would judge her for being hateful.
I believe that she chose to say that "all are welcome" because she is not the type of person to hate or judge.
Instead she is full of kindness, empathy and love.
That's the impression I get from her any time she is interviewed.
It's a very controversial topic, but I truly believe that she didn't deliberately set out to misguide anyone. The issue as I see it, is how people interpret her and there are certainly no shortage of people out there to judge her.
It saddens me to see that many people are judging her and encouraging hate towards her for the sake of TH-cam views.
I pray for her that God may grant her wisdom, courage and peace.
I pray that God may develop my understanding too as I continue my journey of learning his word.
      God bless 🙏

by comparison… then to now… the famine of the Creators book is very evident ( Amos 8:11 )
Today You will need to search with everything you got…to find HIM.
