That tip about humour is very good. I've learnt humour by basically watching tv shows with comedy like Friends and then analysing each joke. I would also repeat it to myself and learn how to perfect the timing as well.

TIP #3: Tell good stories
TIP #4: Don't judge others - be empathetic to others perspectives, don't try to argue, avoid sensitive topics, find commonalities
TIP #5: Stay relevant - learn a little bit about a variety of topics, pay attention to current events so you can share
TIP #6: Be vulnerable - don't overshare emotional baggage but open up slowly sharing small pieces, show you are human
TIP #7: Ask interesting questions - don't get stuck in pleasant small talk, get people thinking with your questions to get them to open up
