I'm just gonna point out, an invasion into californium, is the worst mistake any army could make as we will nuke our own coast to deny them access if we begin losing. we have the setup to do it, and we are crazy enough to actually do it.
this film shows how important a country army is.
But this film also shows how terrible war is and that it shouldn't come to that.
This film is great and due to the many impressions from each side, this film makes a few things right

the ACU was designed for urban combat, it just so happened we were using them in the wrong areas with them. A LOT

It was shit, even failed tests before it was put into service en mass.

i love your videos man, the way you show that war is just stupid and useless for everyone involved is just amazing, the brutality it shows with the lives lost on both sides and still.... you always fight for your country (I served in the German Air Force for 6 years and was also deployed in operations such as in Afganistan) the attention to detail and the time you took is just incredible, keep it up man and you've definitely earned a subscription
PS: we Germans have much more effective anti-aircraft weapons than the PUMAS at 10:55 xD

Literally just stumbled across this. Mesmerisingly horrific! It’s so well done and actually terrifying that this is almost a reality. Obviously lots more range war but those troops that would be dropped in behind enemy lines…Jeesh what a scary thought.

From a cinematic point of view, fucking amazing.
From a realism point of view, eh.
Russia lacks ability to really project its power further than where its borders touch. It has one aircraft carrier that's uh, questionable. It would be a hard fought battle to actually make it on the beach in the first place. The US Navy could mobilize to try and starve out the beach head, and all sorts of stuff. Also there wouldn't be much surprise lmao. Mobilizing a force large enough to give the US Army pause would likely be noticed by just about everyone. Getting out to sea and sailing to New York undetected? Uh, lmao.
The invasion of Germany is very much the same thing. Unless Russia decides to shoot down satellites, they very much cannot invade that easily without being detected, not even mentioning how they get close enough that their helicopters don't drop out of the air from lack of fuel.
Also do SAMs just not exist on the NATO side lmao. Ya boi constantly getting surprise attacked by random ass airborne units. Also ya boi China somehow managed to get somewhere to the... east coast? Without getting detected.
Apache tactics really don't involve charging the shit out of an AA position. If they really had to, it would likely use their radars to spot the targets, or have their grids before hand, and just use pop up tactics to shoot hellfires at max range.
Not sure why the Russian tanks charged out in that scene. Would've probably been easier if they had prepared fighting position and sat there and let the Americans come to them.
On the jet fight, uh, in the words of the legendary CW Lemoine, "Just shoot him already! Do a Fox 2 or something!"
Still, the cinematic was awesome.

I love the show but they really don’t have Realism of the real world and how Russia can’t even get to us and also have a huge ass navy and Air Force and man to do such a thing but u make a lot good point but it still cool to see if Russia turned op
I agree that realism was put on hold for this series. I have taken it as fiction. Ships, planes etc move at the speed of plot, arriving just when the story requires them to. Still I am one who gave up on Game of Thrones after season 5 due to inconsistencies in writing and plot, and that had dragons!
Most of you really do especially Hawk, underestimate possablity and capability of advisaries with in years of arms build up, technology overhauls and planning of some of these operations and real time maneuvers from taking place. Russia does not need a very large Navy to be on USA shores and some cities. Combined with China, there would be battle fields all across the world. I don't think most of you see the larger picture and have had updated weapons check of military hardware would be deployed in this scenario, and the mistakes that could be made make a Lot of factors. In this day in age in this ww3 you don't need to take all or whole cities. Stop the other government, capacity from fighting at large. Still a 75% nobody win kinda situation. 25% is stalemate and negotiations and a new world order.
@NightHawk I concur with all of your points made. All valid and I could add paragraphs to each to further validate them. I would add a point to your list regarding enemy troops on US soil. There is a MASSIVE factor missing in terms of realism. Armed US citizens aka militias are completely unaccounted for here. Perhaps there would be smaller resistance in a state like NY due to their strict gun laws, but we've seen thousands of armed protesters mobilize across the country just to protest an unconstitutional law. There were some 30k armed citizens that went to Virginia just to protest. If a foreign army set a foot on US soil it would be like nothing the world has even seen before.
This is completely theoretical given that an invasion of the US airspace and waters alone would be simply unfeasible.

From the US, it's heart wrenching for anyone to see a war in their own backyard, your machinima is beautiful yet so gut wrenching. I don't think for many people in our day in age from countries show in your film the concept or idea of having the war come to your doorstep.

I am not a big gamer and I dont have a super powerful video card in my system but inspite of that the video quality and seemingly very efficient manner in what its made in my computer system played it incredibly well and the graphics were some of the best I have ever seen! Obviously I hate to see the US getting its ass kicked but that aside I am a subscriber, and well done!

I've watched this before but every time I do it's just like "Wow" that must have took a long time. Watched the battle of Carentan and thats excellent also. Question: In Carentan you have WW2 tanks in that one. For whatever reason the tank Mod i have doesn't want to work. Which one do you use for WW2 tanks especially the German side. Tigers, Panzers etc. Nice work.

My best guess for what mods he was using (At least for Germany) could likely be a conglomerate of mods. The main one of those likely coming from the BWmod, mod adding a modern and slightly futuristic Germany as a Blufor faction. (The slightly futuristic part is their helmets and some guns). Another one could be the BWA3 add mod, adding some nice helicopter varieties plus some more infantry units. Another one (A mod he must have) is the CUP mods. One of the factions CUP ads is a Bundeswehr faction giving us some nice german military. As for the other factions and mods? Most likely a combo of both CUP, RHS and many others. All around. This is a lovely work of art and I look forward to seeing more.

Why this invasion is very tough?
1. Soldiers on both sides almost have the same uniform camouflage
2. Soldiers are all skilled professionals
3. Advanced combat Technology
The russians have a conscript army tho
I can't express how impressive this is roughly knowing how much work has to go into these scenes. I also had no idea Arma3 has such good animations for infranty. I know it is pretty solid with its animations but some of them were really good.

I know this is a very basic question but how do you get such realistic "hand-held" camera movement - the waving and the wobbling and the panning; I mean, (e.g.) following a target but without being "fixed" on it (like G-cam)? I'm just astonished. Is it a special camera mod? I would be SO pleased if someone could answer this.
I love this series, and the thought of how a World War 3 scenario would go if it didn't immediately go Nuclear. Great job again and keep up the good work!
