An art of war?
For future reference, I see a lot of medics doing CPR in the field, as a veteran myself who also happened to be a 68W, I can tell you that that never happens, you NEVER do CPR in a combat environment, if you aren't breathing, you're essentially dead. Keep up the good work!

The ones not making noise are the worst wounded, the ones screaming have time. Keep firing.
That fireman carry would have been a no go as well. I would pulled him by the collar on his flak and ran while he fired. It took him to long to pick that guy up while under fire.
Also if you haven't controlled the bleeding first then CPR will just push the blood out of them faster.
Part of it is just because of the incredibly limited medical animations that Arma has. The vanilla mechanic is "apply first aid kit to heal" and many of the fantastic realistic mechanics are made by people who can't animate

As a former Paladin crewmember I can tell you that:
A: we do not ripple fire.
B: we pack up and MOVE after every fire mission. We do not sit and wait for a missile to come get us. That’s a very dumb idea.
I've served in two branches of the military and this shit hit home. Watching these Marines move out of the building and getting instantly schwacked gave me chills. Obviously not passing my burden on to the creator but rather amazed/impressed that a piece of media can move a person. I love this.

I'm a fire direction control specialist in the Army. If you need any help with call for fire (basically when the observer requests an artillery strike) I can write lines up for you that are accurate.

@@terrellbarrow8941 firing at moving targets will typically be a luck thing when it comes to armor. But the fact that the entire battery was stationary (happens a lot in this series but it's fine) is already unrealistic. Scoot and shoot is the military doctrine. Fire then move, if you fire one volley and stay still, you are as good as dead. hell the arty wouldnt even be within 10 miles of the beach. but this series isnt about realism, it takes a lot of imagination to get the entire chinese navy off the coast of california.

I really enjoy this series and I hope it continues. The only flaw I see is that the U.S. would be extremely more capable in defending the coast and along with that, jets would have been scrambled almost immediately around the country, so air patrols would have called for more fighter support to engage the Chinese fighters and other aircraft. Other than that little thing (for all I know you have some reason as to why. Secrets operations to jam radar or something could be an idea.)

As crazy as it looks but this is beyond realistic. In order for China to land American soil they have to defeat the navy fleet first and then defeat Air Force then they can proceed with land invasion. Which is not possible

If im correct, broken arrow is actually not used in that way. Its a nato wide codeword that describes an accident involving nuclear weapons.
There is only one recorded incident from the 60s where "broken arrow" was used to call a bombing on friendly positions. That one case was Vietnam, the battle of the Ia-Drang Valley 1965.

U can kinda see what side u pull for by making the Americans miss almost everything. When u had there palitins (artillery) fire like 30 times at like 30 tanks in the open and they don’t hit a thing . And M1s engaged Chinese tanks moving in the open coming stait at them and u had them missing several times and the Chinese never miss
Yes this video is heavily biased towards China. I don't know what the other videos are like but you are absolutely correct. China loses maybe 10% of its forces here while Americans are shown absolutely destroyed down to the last man almost. With the choppers down at the beginning and the tanks missing other tanks in N open field. It's absolutely biased.
However the cinematography is top notch with camera angles, AI pathing and scripting. It's a masterpiece.

Hey man, this shit if absolutely incredible, i've always hoped (and i still do) wish to creates Machinima because people have told me i have an eye for detail and realism. Unfortunately im not able to make stuff like this because my PC is made out of vegetables (aka; potato). I love this stuff and your videos are better than any war movie i have ever seen (Except from Fury, that was banging in my opinion)-(And i watch ALOT of movies) I do have a few questions tho, 1. how do you make it so that the AI does an animation but then after a certain ammount of time stops doing it? 2. Do you know how to make it so that AI can be killed during animations 3. Do you know how to make AI shoot during animations? 4. Not a question, but i hope you continue these for as long as possible, you deserve way more attention for how much detail, time, work and effort you put into your machinimas

The attention to detail was incredible! From the F 35s pilots new helmet to the U.S Marine letting off a machine gun burst and saying "die MF die!" Great work!
This is cool and all but an actual invasion of America would be a logistical nightmare. There's the troops and equipment needed to storm and hold a beach head, supplies to keep them sustained, and all while encountering heavy resistance.

We're so insulated from war as American citizens, it's scary to even entertain the thought of being invaded. I doubt it'll ever happen, but still, this gave me chills. Guess this video did it's job, great work!
You right about one thing. Last time we were invaded was by the British well sort of. However the size and terrain are a deterrent. It would be like us attacking any of the countries with a large landmass. The resources it would take to pacify the country would be tremendous. And let's not forget the armed citizenry - some serious stuff.

The game trailer is definitely made amazingly great. I played ARMA 3, and I know it is not easy to script such big battlefield in ARMA 3.
However, could I request to make another trailer for US Army, e.g. US invasion of China, US invasion of Iran, Invasion of Brazil etc.? Otherwise, US Army showed a bit weaker in this trailer. In the real world, US Troops have been everywhere since WW2. You would have more history resources to base on, and I believe you could create better and more realistic game trailer than existing ones ! Keep up with the good job !!!
In fact, the US Army is indeed a bit weak in front of the Chinese army. The 31st Regiment of the 7th Division was almost completely wiped out by the Chinese army in North Korea, and the two commanders were killed successively.
2:31 Easily my most favorite shot of the whole thing. Just gave out that Transformers vibe. I can't imagine the amount of infcapture and vehcapture scripts needed for this video. I loved every bit of this film mate, thanks for making it :)

Bloody superb mate. I am relatively new to ARMA 3 with only about 150 hours in game and have started playing with the editor to create small skimrishes with numerous mods. I am still learning and have not even looked at animations, scripting, triggers and so on, but watching this shows what a master of all this is capable of. I am 60 now and not so good with tech but if I had 10% of your skill I would be over the moon.

This is realistic because, in other words, its the two -basically- strongest countries in the world fighting against eachother. Even a small attack on a beach front can seem like an endless barrage of equal firepower that doesnt end

Three questions, the first is how you make the unit shoot during an animation, the second is in order to move that big amount entities/unit and vehicles is unitcapture code copied and pasted for in their inits? And the third is how do get that beautiful fire effect in the building and on the chinese tank crew member?
Btw beautiful views and effects. Sound effect and voices are beyond perfect and camera movements are spot on, an absolute beauty
1) Units don't really shoot during animations. I add muzzle flashes while editing, making like this the illusion that they really fire their weapons.
2) Every single unit/vehicle that you see moving, is separately unitCaptured.
3) The fire effect on building is an object fire effect that comes with Contact DLC. The fire on the crew member is multiple fire module effects attached to different parts of his body.
