    This video was quite helpful, thanks much! Another thing we did after my wife struggle with pushing pin to lock brackets is we removed the TV again as we know we wanted all the way back (no tilt play needed) so pushed the pin with the hooks in position where it hangs on rail and then lifted and rested on rails and then tighten the screws under (my model has this lock from lifting off)....great video!

    I have watched tons of instructional offerings on TH-cam, tons, on a wide variety of topics...THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. PERIOD...I'm even gonna steal your "backsplash " idea for contrast going up the wall. Tell your wife I said "THANKS!!!"

    You can put velcro on the back of the tv and the cheetah paws to attach them to the tv.

    Thank you for the video! So much easier to understand than the instructions it came with. The only thing that confused me was you mentioned 12.5 inches from the bottom of the TV and then you said to add 32 inches when figuring out where to place the holes. Can you explain what the 32 inches is for? Thank you!!!

    Is it normal that brackets are loose on the mounting position? It's not perfectly latched

    do I have to unlock those cheetah paw things to move the TV over? I just want to slide the TV from left to right about 1.5 inches... can I just lift and move over?

    • @thewsca
      @thewsca 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joseph S good question. I want to do the same thing. I presume you have to pull down on the 2 plastic cheetah paws in order to release the bottom of the tv. This will allow you to move the tv slightly, then click back into place.

    Excellent review! One question: I need to install a 65" and HDMI are on the side - I was wondering if there's enough room for the cables to pass behind the TV. Could you Help me out?

    Suppose there was a metal studs behind the wall what would you do?

    • @withlove1717

      Good question, Sherman. I believe that it is possible to drill into brick and metal, but requires a special bit. Also, be careful about damaging the structural integrity of your house or apartment. It might be smart to just buy or create a stand instead of a wall mount for your situation :/

    good video but I think its compromised by the fact that you used a black background cant really see the attachment . why use black on black for demonstration purposes?

    I just bought this same exact wall mount for a 65" LG. I was wondering what the VESA pattern was for your Samsung. My LG has a VESA 300 pattern, so I did not have to use the larger configuration for the wall-bracket. The hooks on the TV lineup perfectly on the smaller configuration wall-bracket. Would there be a benefit to using the larger configuration instead? Thanks!

  • @Kevin27-LM
    @Kevin27-LM 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    what size is the drill bit you used? mine ask for a 3mm and 5mm, but mine are in fractions, 3/16th is about 6mm from searching online, will that be ok to pilot a hole? then i can screw the wrench screw into the wall stud?

    • @withlove1717
      @withlove1717  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I'm not sure, this was installed a while back so I don't remember the exact drill bit. Maybe start with the smaller size, try it and then move to larger if it's too tight? Easier to go big than try to go backward to something smaller... like shoving toothpicks or other wood splinters and glue in the hole to fix it :/

    Do you have to remove the whole tv to connect wires such as optical cables, etc? Or does the tv swing away from wall?
