If you don’t have an available stud detector, you can tap the wall with the very tip of your finger to produce a sound. The sound will go from deeper to shallower as you aproach the stud. When you are right above the stud, sound produced will practically mute.

Can you mount the brackets on the back of the TV higher than what was shown? I didn’t see there were more wholes to choose from. I wouldn’t want to reposition the mount on the wall so I’m wondering if bight can be fixed with just the ones on the TV.
I have a very similar mount that came already installed in my home. Only problem is I cannot figure out how to lock the mounts to the rails. Seems like it should be easy enough by maybe just pulling the straps but I’m gettin nowhere. No brand listed so I’m guessing everything
Because power wires are run through studs you will need to know where the electrical wires are as well. You could drill through the stud and into a wire.
My tv is on a fixed bracket like your video. However I want to move the tv up by about 4”. Is this possible without moving the wall bracket? Can I adjust the vertical bars on the back to sit higher? Many thanks 😊

I bought a tv stand on fb marketplace and the rails seem to not fit the bracket they’re too short. Was I scammed into buying the wrong thing or am I missing something. Can the rails be extended or adjusted somehow?
Man i just got a USX-MOUNT XMM010-01 My father n law put the mount up on the wall so i just had to do the rest. Tried all the damn screws but none of them fit !! Smh
