I simply love the way lean journey was communicated on shop floor, Awesome job!
try making lables yellow with black text, the yellow black combo is the highest contrast level and much easier to see from standing height
amazing work guys
Wow, what an operation! Go Walters and Wolf! Where can we get the video of the mail room improvements? What a 'simple' process and would make a great point to many! Carla
+cccaz They are impressive! Here is a link paulakers.net/2012/lean-videos/hauling-mail
The question is how much does a transformation like this cost and how fast/well will the company see a return on that investment? Because that's really what it comes down to, is it worth it?
This is what my superiors are thinking and why I'm having such a hard time convincing upper management to act on this.
+Ed Taslak The real question you should be asking is why is Toyota the best in the world and why is all the top companies in the world implementing lean? Paul
+FastCap Paul I'm on your side, you're definitely an inspiration, I'm just having a hard time convincing the plant manager and owner to jump into something like this. There is also no one with lean experience in the company, including myself; I have just read about it.
