Oh yummo. Looks delicious, thank you for sharing. You made everything look so easy Ian. ENJOY guys. I had bench tops like yours Amanda, my son made them for me and I put layers and layers of shellac on them and I could put a hot saucepan on them or a tray out of the oven and none of them left any marks but it took me quite a while to get the bench tops to that stage. I’ve only once before seen this dish prepared and that time the video concentrated more on the preparation and serving of the meat filling, I can’t even recall who it was making the dish but they didn’t have any cheese the dish and purchased their loaf from a bakery, they did however produce much more gravy than you , I think they used a full two pint glass bowl to dip their sandwich into and a heftier serving of meat in the finished dish.
