A debit card is my preferred card to use..
Do you need a pin? I'm confused.
When you get your debit card in the mail, a PIN will be assigned to you. You can change that to something you can remember, if you want. Your bank can help with that. When you buy something with your debit card at a store, you will usually be asked to type in your PIN. When you use your debit card to buy something online, you will not have to give that info. ❤

Here’s a question. If I make an online purchase with a credit card, and there is fraudulent activity as a result of online activity, I can contact the credit card company and make them aware of the fraud and protest any unwarranted charge. This has only happened a few times over many years but the card company has been excellent to deal with. If, however, I use a debit card for an online purchase the money is immediately taken out of my account. So if I discover unauthorized activity or fraudulent activity who do I enlist to help me sort out the situation? Once to money is “gone” out of the account and paid to someone else I think it unlikely the bank will be of much help.
If there is unauthorized activity on your debit card, you must call your bank immediately. Ask for the fraud department. Tell them which charges are not yours. They will cancel your current debit card and issue you a new one. The charges will be reversed and you will not have to pay them. The amount taken out of your account due to the fraud will be replaced. The bank is "insured" for theft. There will be a review and investigation and this may take a little while, but the money will be returned to your account.
why does the debit cards doesn,t have the "visa" writing on it?? even though you can shop online any where with it???
A debit card can have a Visa or Mastercard symbol on it, but not always. If it does, it means you can use it anywhere that accepts Visa or MC. But remember, a debit card is NOT a credit card. You can only spend up to the amount that is in your checking account.

In order to use your debit card, you will just deposit money into your bank account. Go into your bank and deposit checks or cash.
If you are talking about a credit card (Visa card), you do not deposit money for that. It is a loan. The amount is set by the bank that offered you the card. I hope I understood your question. If not, let me know and I will explain it better.

With going cashless, does that mean it's all online,and if so what will we need banks for???😮😮😮
You still need to have money in your bank account. Going "cashless" just means that you don't have to write a check or pay with actual cash. It will be withdrawn from your bank account through the technology we have now.
I stop using card already coz card makes keep using so i will jjust send my payment by sendinga my check payment every month Is this okay ?
You can usually pay all bills and purchases with a check. It's okay.
Can I build credit on my debit card?
The best way to build credit is by using your credit card. When you use your debit card to pay for things, you are using your own money. When you use a credit card, you are "borrowing" money and proving that you are responsible when you pay it back on time. I have a great podcast episode all about the benefits of credit cards. @@beverlypotter3236 First make sure that you have enough money in your bank account to pay for the pizza. Then make sure your parents know that you are going to order it and you have their permission. Payment is usually made once you pick the pizza up. You can order it over the phone, but you don't actually pay for it until you pick it up. Make sure you know the price ahead of time so that you are not surprised. You can then pay with your debit card. This video shows you how to use it with the card reader at the pizza shop. You will usually be asked for your PIN, so make sure you know that information. You can always ask the person at the register for help in paying. Most people are very nice and will help you out.

I invent the card at the ATM how to success . if tablet sto!e and card still in then button at ATM card will lock on no one use online or get card numbers. "Lock" button signal . no robber or card lost , online etc whereout. Until unlock button any can use online or whatever purchase
