In 9th grade my art teacher found a sketchbook that didn't have a name on it, so he opened it to see if he could tell who owned it. After flipping through for a bit he abruptly stopped and walked towards my friend where he them promptly said: "no more tentacle porn in school please"

This happened when I was a student, in 5th grade. During maths, I passed a note to my friend, and on the note, the entirety of the Rick roll lyrics. The maths teacher intercepted it, as I hoped, and started reading it out to the class. Everyone broke out into laughter, including the teacher. I was the class clown for a day.

One time in late middle school or early high school me and my friend was passing notes his not said " why do you look like you're in a bad mood today" I responded back" (My other friend's name) accidentally threw a 10 or 15 lbs weight ball at my balls twice the other day and it still hurts today". She took the notes and read them up to the part where it said I got the ball thrown at my balls twice and stopped, but me being pissed about it and off my ADHD medicine I said" no no, continue reading since you want to intercept with people's note and read them out loud instead of just intercepting them." Clearly I got in trouble for that but it was worth it since she stopped reading them out loud, sure she still intercepts them and reads them but she doesn't read them out loud anymore.

I litterally dont understand why people things children do not deserve any form of privacy I simply can not wrap my head around it. I understand reading a note to try and determine if a child is in some sort of danger/ being bullied if that is the motivation (I doubt this ever is). But publically huliating children just promotes a culture of shame. I understand shaming bad/evil adults because they are responsible for there actions but children are not adults and should not be held accountable for their actions to the same extent, they litterally have so much brain development left it just isn't fair.

I sat next to my friend, she didn’t like math class and didn’t bother trying so she decided to write a note inside the desk she sat in. The note said “write your name if you think Ms. jbcgben class is boring.” She was going to write her name down but I quickly stopped her and told her not to. Luckily she didn’t because at the end of the day like half the class was called to the principals office for detention because some kid had to be snitch. I got pulled out of class and I went back to the classroom. I asked the sub, "What am I supposed to do?" "What did I miss?" Or something like that. She then said, "Well I didn't give instructions yet, did I?" I remember being really hurt about this. Since I was the nice and well behaving kid all my life, and a sub was rude to me? I have 2 stories from the same class.
In sixth grade both of my social studies teachers were super nice and lenient. They used to make jokes and competitions about how social studies is better than science, to which me and my friend would argue back that science is better, just to annoy them 😂 well one time we got a whole bunch of sticky notes, and we wrote things about how science is better than social studies, and stuck them all around the room. My friend dared me to stick a sticky note on my student teacher. I did, and he read out loud “science is better than social studies” lmao.
Also in the same class, different teacher (we had an actual teacher, and then a student teacher who was just an aid) but the girl sitting next to me asked me what time it was. I didn’t want to talk and disturb the class, so I wrote it down on a sticky note and gave it to her. My teacher noticed and she was like “ooh! Someone’s passing notes!” And then she made everyone “oooOooOoOh” so it would embarrass us. She never actually read the note, but it was funny.

I was in 3rd or 4th grade, when this kid I had a crush on at the time, passed me a note. At the time, he knew swear words because he was that kid but I had no idea what it meant so we he passed me a note that said "motherf**k**", I wrote back "fatherf**k**." (I assume he wasn't very educated in the art of swearing because he didn't correct me on that. He was the kind of kid who would.)
We had those desks with the empty middles so we were shoving the notes in there. The teacher had noticed all the notes we passed and at the end of the day told us to empty our desks. I was so scared to get in trouble, but I also didn't want to get him in trouble. (Side note, I also never found the fatherf**k** note. It was on a different sticky note that the mf one, so I guess I lost it?) She sent us to the principals office when she found the mf note. We had separate meetings, and I have no idea what he told the principal but I cried and cried and told her I didn't know what it meant (I didn't), and I was sorry for disrupting the class. I told her he was the one who wrote the mf, and other random curse words I don't remember. I told her you could tell by the handwriting. We had very similar hand writing and she couldn't tell. I got off with a lunch and recess detention, and they didn't contact my parents. I think they contacted is father, and had the call in the meeting because when he came out he had been crying. We were still friends after that, and I still liked him.

Story: That The 14:42 story reminded me off, I was in 7th grade and my friend had to tell me a important secret that she didn't want others to know, but as she passed the note the teacher asked me for the note. (I know this teacher had often read notes aloud so without even knowing what was on the note I shoved it in my mouth. Lots of people started laughing, so did the teacher. Then the teacher again asked for the note, with it still in my mouth I said "It has spit on it" she just laughed and made me throw it away. Lots of people were staring at me and laughing or had confused looks on their face, though my friend was in grateful shock.

High school teacher here: Students know me as Mrs. B. I found a note that said, "Mrs. B smells like cheese." I know which student wrote it, so during his period, I loudly COMMENDED the anonymous author of the note for his originality in his insult! I went on about other, more mundane insults I have received, and I praised everything about this masterpiece down to the paper on which it was written and the superb penmanship. I laid it on really thick and never revealed his name to the class. Sort of like a reverse shaming, but still shaming.
He approached me after class, head low. "Save the apology, and don't do it again," I said and pointed to the door.
    He didn't.

I only ever passed notes avidly in class once. Grade 10 history me and my at the time boyfriend sat right next to each other and though our history teacher was great (easily the best teacher in the class both in personality and actual teaching most of the time) really didnt like having cellphones out so we passed notes to each other instead. I'm sure he saw it sometimes but didn't care/was chill enough to just let us continue. To be fair we were some of his favorite and best students, and I had the extra cred of him having both my older brothers in classes before. There was never anything really bad anyway. Maybe some making fun of the really awful students (awful in terms of personality) but it was mostly just regular conversation. This would have been like 2017

I went to a school in the middle of nowhere......a "student", who's parent was a butcher, came in with a bull's eyeball........it stuck to the ceiling through a whole maths class. I never did get to understand algebra. Oddly no one passed a note, and the teacher did not look up. The school was known as Prisonthorpe Colditz.

7:35 for the guy that asked what teacher refuses someone to go to the nurse,
One day I was walking into the classroom and the doorways and kinda sharp, I scraped my leg on it and I knew that it was going to start bleeding. I asked my teacher if I could go to the nurse because blood was already kinda coming out of the cut and she said no. So for the entire class I have to keep one hand on my leg to apply pressure on the cut and when it stopped bleeding I took my hand of and it was covered in dried up blood.

In 3rd grade this kid wrote on the note “Duckypoop, wanna play your a prince crap at recess?” And the teacher intercepted it and that kid went all the way up front in class and read that note. All the kids where laughing at his red and crying face. Two years later the same kid passed a note that said “fuck” the teacher read it and said “wanna go read this up front?” Everybody said yes and then he read it.

Last year we had two Science teachers and our second one left after 1/2 a term so we had a supply until lockdown. The lessons were awful as he couldn’t control the class and we hardly ever learnt anything. He also seemed to think it was a good idea to make us sit boy girl in alphabetical order meaning there was one guy between me and my friend and his friend was on the other side of her. They swapped seats by the second lesson and we just passed notes back and forth every lesson. The way the Science classrooms are, there are tables in a row at the front and the teacher’s table is against the middle of the front row facing them. My friend and I sat directly in front of the teacher. He never caught us. It would’ve been funny if he got one of her notes and read it out as it was just a drawing of Groot saying
    “I am Groot.
    Hi Groot how are you?
    I am Groot.
    Hi Groot.
    I am Groot.
    I KNOW!”
😂that would’ve been amazing. Might have made our class stop hating us so much.

I have never really been caught passing notes, but when the class was repetitive or I already did my stuff, I liked "texting" my friends secretly, well now that I think about it I once did get caught but the teacher was chill, it felt kinda embarrassing and annoying how the teacher said "stop passing each other notes", and another time I *almost* got caught, the teacher asked what was the paper and my friend, with very good acting, said it was just garbage someone left under the desk.

not to spoil anyones happiness but when I would pass notes in elementary school and middle school, I always had pre written ones so that if I got caught passing any I would give one of those to them and it would say something nice and sweet about the teacher or the class in order to not make them mad or give me a detention.
Idk if thats whats those students that write the really sweet notes are doing but yeah 😭

When my mom was in high school she and her friend who shared a locker pulled a prank on 2 boy who shared a locker. My mom and her friend watched the boys opening their locker at got the combination. They then taped a note to the inside of the door that read something like "you will pay in (x) days" it had a cartoon bomb and a lit fuse with the number of days. The boys began to panic and got their combination changed. My mom being a straight A student went to administration and asked for the new combination (a very small school with less than 50 in her class). She explained what she was going to do. The boys were still panicking and when it got to "0" they found the locker crammed with Payday candy bars.
