As someone very new to the whole program I just wanna say this was a great video for me. Not bogged down with a lot of technical knowledge and terms (those will come with time) it's an excellent showcase of concept just to familiarize myself with a machine.
This video is legendary. I recently got a very cheap rusted 240z and wanted to buy the car to learn about motors and building them. It is the perfect candidate. I pulled the motor and have it on a stand, now i shall take it apart in tandem with this video. Thank you sir.
i spent about half an hour looking for a half decent video that could explain how to disassemble an engine till I stumbled upon this one. I actually understood everything, it helped a lot for my project so thanks man
I’m just here to try and learn something because I see so many other guys know so much about cars and I have no clue about anything I just know what looks cool what goes vroom fast
Thank you a bunch, I've recently started playing a game called car mechanic simulator and found a lot of interest in working on cars and started wondering how to take a real engine apart.
I eventually plan on getting a 240Z this video is invaluable as I have next to no mechanical experience when it comes to wrenching on cars. Thanks so much!
Found a kubota D722, im taking it apart and then im gonna Try to rebuild it, its the first engine and with no expirience just curiuseti i Hope it will work out. Im 14 yrs btw

Do you think I can clean out burnt oil in my engine by disassembling it I want to restore my engine it’s vg30 and my mechanic says to get a new one but it has 120,000 miles I feel like I can simply try to take care of it on my own it had a blown head gasket I really think I could make it happen and fix my head gasket by just learning how to get around the oil first

It's a lot of fun to work on. Just watch for rust! Specifically, frame rails and floor pans. Spend more for a rust free car. It's worth every dime.

Very appreciated, is it possible for you to do a 2006 Benz viano v6 3.2 petroleum engine assemble and disassemble?
Question. How long would it take a skilled mechanic to teardown and reassembly a engine on a dodge challenger?
Teardown not very long. Reassembly is a different. All parts have to be lubed properly, check clearances, etc. It really depends on the tech.
Another additional my personal experience. How to Disassemble an Engine Step by Step
You can use a degreaser to clean the oil from the engine

Yes because they memorized it or sometimes unorganized.. Depends 😀

If my starter is located in the intake valley, would I have to pull the engine to access it? Or could I just open it while it's still in the hood?
