I’ve been a fan of Cirith ungol since 1987 and was so happy to find this video, as I’ve never seen the band play in person. One of the most original sounding bands, and they bring it live! Nice!

Jarvis Leatherby of Night Demon was instrumental (so to speak) in reuniting his hometown Heavy Metal heroes for his Frost and Fire Festivals in Ventura, CA. When the original bassist declined to rejoin the group, Jarvis stepped in.
Love this band since the 80"s, even though they're not very known here in Brazil. Nice to see this video here. Hope to see them here again someday.
They're playing their final shows through the end of the year, but one of the confirmed dates is in Sao Paulo. November 8th

actually at 1:09:51 the song they play is "fire" which is a cover from paradise lost. "the Fire" is an original song off the one foot in hell album.

@@dominiqueguay1313 Arthur Brown used to be a house painter partnered with Jimmy Carl Black (the Indian of the group original drummer from the Mothers of Invention) in Austin, Texas in the 80's. Gotta earn a living somehow.
This guitarist really does this music right. It is tough to fill shoes of the dead. I really love him. Great work. It means so much to so many. Even to the ones that are gone.
So the lead guitarist (Jim Barraza) has been with them since the late 80s and the Rhythm Guitarist (Greg Lindstrom) has been on and off since the very first album. They better know how to play the songs. They've been in the band playing the songs longer than Fogle was.
@@ForestOfSleep It is sad about Fogle. I know the others are great. --But you can hear the feeling of Fogle in his playing. There is a difference. ---Yes, the band has moved on and they are stronger than ever. You get these shooting stars here and there out there and you want to cry for them. It just sucks to see people fail in their dreams. Maybe not for us, but for them. ---And this is a great band that I will love always. Verry unique, and verry dedicated. A band that one can be proud of.

I think it was great (more than) if Barraza 've been played the intro of "Finger" with an acoustic guitar. Anyway, it is beautiful to see these boys on the stage. I love their music.
I cannot believe how clean you guys sound! Amazing!!!! I really hope I can see you guys live! It was my dream for years, and right when you guys got back into it, I got into my own life having to pay bills and such and haven't had the opportunity. My dad showed me you guys and years later you're back into it! Started playing again!(And damn good at that) Dayumn, it feels like I'm alive!!!

drummer I guess couldnt play the songs as originally recorded so is faking it - playing over prerecorded tracks, none of his rolls match what we hear. at 3:53 you hear a roll around the toms, and he doesnt do a fill at all
The audio is behind the video though. By quite a bit actually.
Thats bullsh*t. I dont video well that is me playing, a bit weaker than normal, I had heart surgery 2 weeks before. They had 4 video cameras and sometimes the video and audio dont match perfect. I have a very unique style that is not like any other drummer. Our band has never faked anything. Non believers come out and see us at one of our rare upcoming shows.........

All the rock is in my brain from the past. All the greats Garven. ---And I have been playing so much of your band in life recently. It is really, really great music. You guys should be very proud of yourselves. I know I am proud of you guys. Rock is a gift to all of us. All of us involved. You and your band are part of that gift. I met Authur Brown in LA a few years ago and he told me about how being a rock god is not that big of a deal. He lives in a Yurt and washes in the river. I kind of thought that he was a big deal. He is a rock god of hell fire. Maybe in his mind we are just here to love music and life. ---You guys pulled that shit off. Love of life and music. --And you are a great fucken drummer.
