    Mercedes C250 M271 has three map sensors two of them reading 1.3 v on idle and last one located at intake pipe going to the Terbo reading 3.7v on idle, my question should be all sensors has same idle voltage ?

    How engine behave when that sensors are faulty ?

    • @doit_vehicles
      @doit_vehicles  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Trouble code and possibly bad idling / bad fuel economy

      In my case, the symptoms are surging during driving. Keeping a constant throttle on a flat road, and my speed is increasing and decreasing. It makes sticking to a speed limit fun.

    I got errors P0089 and P0171 where first pointing performance problem with the Fuel Pressure Regulator and second Lean Fuel Mixture. DTCs are accompanied with weird idle, whirring noise comining from the back/bottom of the car and weird take-offs and acceleration. Where is the Fuel Pressure Regulator in this car? Its a B class 170 NGT petrol+CNG. The whirring noise is present when only driving on petrol.

      is there a LPG system installed ?

    • @ApriliaSR50Customs
      @ApriliaSR50Customs 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@doit_vehicles LPG no. But CNG(compressed natural gas) yes. And it is an original factory system from mercedes. The fuel bottle is integrated in the chassis. Along with that it also has a petrol tank and i can switch between the two from the buttons on the steering wheel. I just cleared out the DTCs and the first one to pop up again was P0089 followed by P0171 and later on P0106. I speculate the whirring noise is coming from the petrol fuel tank more specifically from the fuel pump.

    • @doit_vehicles
      @doit_vehicles  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ApriliaSR50Customs it can be a weak fuel pump , bad connection to it ( check the voltage at the connector while moving the connector , do a voltage drop test ). Also since you probabily have acces to live data , you can watch the fuel trims while spraing propane around the intake manifold ( or points where there could be a vaccum leak )

    I believe the temperature sensor should have been twisted half a turn to come out, not pressing on the sides.

    Hi my friend I always respect you and I like your videos but I give you a warning about that video using propane gas close to the spark plugs is really very very dangerous so please I would like you to delete that video in case if anyone here tried to learn from you and he does something harmless the best way to use brake cleaner with some blowing air or smoke test

      Hi there ! I understand your concern , that's nice that you care about others :) Using propane or any other flamebale is a common practice in meny workshops ( at least from what I've seen ) In order for the spark to occure , at least the coil must be removed , but even than there should be a close distance to the ground to form a spark . It might happen if the car has spark plug wires from a distributor and they are damaged / the spark will jump to the ground . In that situation you will look for a misfire I guess ; but that's not the case in meny modern vehicles including the one from the video which has coilpacks . I hope I could make it more clear :)
