Hey Man. Very nice and informative video. I got code P0128 on my 2010 ML550. Want to check coolant temp sensor before going to thermostat. Would u mind posting the video from very beginning till u get to sensor? Want to locate the sensor in my ML550?
the fan itself can be broken aswell when running all the time. The control unit is poorly worried about salt and water (it is mounted directly on the fan)
Especially nice if you own a B150 or A150 both having the only small fan where the Motor and the cover are one unit. The bigger motors have the fan engine snapped to the plastic cover behind the cooler. There are aftermarket motors and fan ecu to replace which won't fit on the smallest model :-/ replace both to be safe or blow the mosfet right out of the new ecu :-/
I have 200 benz and engine temp is 65 celsius max , I tried hanging thermostat but tere was big problem with one screw , can I use car with that temperature ? Before benz I had vw polo where thermostat was also broken I drove that almost 10 years and zero problems , what are you think
Hy mate,i have same model of mercedes..a 2 months ago heating work without problems,when i comeback from holliday heating dont have power like before..come a little warm air inside the car but not like before,when was winter in 2 minute was warm in the car..you know whta can be the problem?

Kind oft there is a ring around which can be removed but you hardly can buy it seperate. Just go with New Thermostat and Sensor as single part that is cheap and safe.

my fan is always on and the temperature gauge always shows 60 degrees could it also be the coolant temperature sensor?

If the temperature outside is bellow freezing it's not a good idea to drive the car because the temperature of the coolant might drop even lower
just remove the Fuse of the fan, as long as you don't lobe in Spain or Dubai , it works fine. (cheapo solution, not recommended, but works)

The operating temperature is around 90 °Celsius . The price is around 20 euros with shiping
