I absolutely love that CUCV build! I am a veteran and was fortunate enough to have driven one in real life. The ones that we had were actually used as personnel carriers as well as for cargo. They had wooden bed extensions that part of that folded down into a seat inside of the bed. They had already begun phasing them out when I was in, but we still had a few of them, and I absolutely loved them. I really appreciate your attention to detail and cannot wait to see it when it is done! Thank you so much for sharing!

I'm not really a Porsche guy but that build looks amazing. I AM a Square Body guy, with a special fondness for long beds (I have an 87 K3500) so the CUCV is definitely a favorite of mine. Killer episode this week!
I recently picked up a cheap 4tec 2.0 roller, put double what a paid in a body, wheels and tires, paint, threaded shock and a new 2s. added a spare mamba x in it with a 4600kv castle sct motor. I started with the intent to run this body but now I want to scale out the r34 and get another or drive. My 3 on-road car in 23yrs the first one was my first hobby grade rc. Idk if it’s the scale side of it with my trail trucks and crawlers but I like it lol
Wow! The RWB is freaking stunning! So well made by Pandora and you did an amazing job of building and painting it, love all the little details you did extra.. really really want to see this onnthe track at least once! Let me know the day you decide to drift it!
The cucv is coming along really nice. Everything will be done in time. You only habe so much time. It is amazing you get what you get done. I may do the boat next month... we shell see. It looks great. It brings back a lot of memories. I got my license to drive a CUCV in1992 in Korea. I guess that makes me old. For a challenge you could try to replicate CARC paint.

Hey Mr. Matt! Glad I found the Channel its awesome! Wanting to build a scale truck or jeep or unimog or something. Just not sure what is the best platform to start with, VS4-10 TRX -4, SCX10, Ecto or something else. Kit or RTR is fine, probably prefer a kit honestly. Love the channel, I'm hooked.

I know this has nothing to do with this video but I can use some advice man. I recently put scx10 ii axles with upgrades for weight on my C2X. Now my front end needs different links. Not sure what to do for that. And do you know if I can put a 2door Mojave hard body instead of the 4 door? Thanks for any input man.
You’ll have to measure and cut your own links. I recommend threaded rod and Traxxas rod ends. Once you’ve got the right length, you can sheath them in brake line to clean up the look.
