    In this video I go over the process of replacing oil pan gasket on N51/52 engine of BMW 328i, this is exactly the same process on all other e90 body types but DO NOT applies to all wheel drive 328xi. It is also very similar to 128i and 528i with n52 engine.
    Engine oil pan gasket part # 11 13 7 548 031 (I used elring seal)
    Engine oil level sensor o-ring part # 12 61 1 744 292 (erring)
    Engine oil filter part # 11 42 7 953 129 (hengst)
    Motor mounts part # 22 11 6 760 330 (Corteco is OEM and left and right are the same)
    Thank you for watching.

    I've been watching your video since I bought a 328i, followed your DIY from changing oil, radiator, water pump, thermostat, bleeding, etc..and decided to join membership to learn more such as this...thanks for answering my inquiries 👍

    Yo Zeiten love the channel, I needed to replace the radiator in my e92 so I did and then filled the coolant back up and I actually found out my thermostat isn’t working because my car was still overheating and after ordering parts I drained my radiator and every little came out. All the coolant is everywhere else and I put in at least two gallons before. I don’t know how to drain the coolant how would I do this. You’re the best bmw mechanic!

    • @Zeiten
      @Zeiten  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The whole system holds about 3 gallons of coolant, once you start disconnecting hoses more will come out I’d recommend replacing water pump at the same time as thermostat since they have about the same life span and located next to each other

    Hi Tim, watching your video regularly since a little while now, not only you are very calm & precise in your explanation, but also very fit & courageous to work alone... Could you please share more information regarding the extensions and socket that are loose. I am from Europe (France), I'd like to get some where can I order them from?

    Weren't the Vanos bolts a problem on this engine? BMWNA has a new recall on them

    • @Zeiten

      They were but this is not the head of broken vanos bolt, i really don’t want to remove valve cover just for that but i guess i’ll have to😂

    • @Zeiten
      @Zeiten  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @danantrosiglio1414 manual is a bit easier compared to autotrans, but since you have awd it’s different. You have front differential attached to oil pan with axles and front driveshaft. I have a way of simplifying this repair will shoot a video in the near future
