Hahaha HA!! I've begun laughing again after about eight years of not. Yesterday, I realized it's because I'm enjoying listening to you, Scotty. You laugh and have a great sense of humor, which no one around me has had. It's a musician thing, in part. We tend to melancholy, and usually, jazz musicians are the best at the kind of wild humor that can put Music Theory finals out of OUR misery. As well as other things, like not having anyone recognize that our job is actually work. Not just fiddling around! 🎶🐴 (donkey) The ECU consigned to life in a 🦃Chrysler!! 😂🐧

The ECU on my 93 Toyota pickup went out at around 200,000 miles. Never been in a flood or jump started. Very difficult to diagnose because there is no test for it except to replace it with a known good unit. Truck would still run but would hesitate because the injectors weren't getting the necessary current. Bought a used one at a junk yard for $100 which fixed the problem. Shouldn't happen on a Toyota.

    • @austingee238

I don't know if anyone replied to you- but, logically speaking, as long as you're doing it correctly, when you jumpstart, all you're doing is providing it with an alternate power source. The only issue I can even imagine would exist only with newer cars, since their electronics seem to be especially delicate. However, I assume you probably aren't talking about a newer car if you're jumpstarting it often.
