Hey y’all! It’s Kyle, the Tour Guide from this video. There are always new things they try every year. And Tall Guy came on opening night, which has its peaks and valleys. The peaks? You get to be among the first to see it all. The valleys? The order and structure of the operation can change from that night because opening night is when the powers-that-be get to see how the changes they have made work. And here’s a few things to note:
1. With RIP you will see every single house if you stay with your guide.
2. Since this video was made they have decided to let RIP guests go through the RIP line even without their guides.
3. On opening night, there were some issues with the queues that needed to be addressed. A few queues were having express and RIP share a line. Since then, it has changed so that RIP has their own dedicated line at each of the eight houses.
I hope this helps clear up some things that might have been a little confusing for anyone. And I can’t wait to see you all in the VIP lounge for your RIP tours. If you see me, come say hello!! Happy Halloween y’all!
Kyle thank you for the information. I am taking the RIP next month. How much time do you give the group at the Stellar Bar and how long is the purge and blumhouse show? I'm sure the shows add to the tour time. It's outstanding the high energy level you have for that many hours.Many thanks.

I had the classic 2008 HHN shirt on and asked you a few questions on your scare acting past times! Thanks again for the RIP bracelet; I wore it again this year (on opening night and RIP tour)

Great video! Just a quick question, what time did you guys start your RIP tour, and do you remember the time it ended? Really thinking about splurging, and purchasing it, but I also want to know if there is some free time after to do the mazes at least 1 more time.
Yes I’ll tour started at 5:30 ended around 11:30, our group did take our time though so you can finish quicker. There is definitely free time if you start your tour earlier

I've got RIP tickets for October and I was really wanting to know about how much walking would be involved (since I got bad knees) but now I know there is shuttle service to the Terror Tram. That's great. Also, what's the earliest you can check in? My tour starts at 6:20pm but I plan on being in the park already. So what time can I check in and can I just lounge around the VIP area until it's time for my tour?
You’re at least walking 3miles or so during the event just as a heads up but as for check in you can start checking in 30min prior to your arrival time. You will need to exit the park in order to check in through the vip booth, and yes once you check in you can enjoy the lounge area upstairs.
First time going on the tour was 2022 and im a about to go again in 3 weeks. Just needed a refresher🖤

this is great to see thanks, I am doing RIP in a couple weeks, Sept 22. of course filming it too for my show. The food looks ok, I was hoping it is better than last years? My tour isn't until 8:20 pm so have to figure out how to do all that, my last two years my RIP was first of the night and opening night too. I am wondering when we eat being we are so late on the tour? Looks great though! looks like the tour took longer than usual? Last year I did the first RIP and we were done by 9:30 so had a LOT of extra time after. I am thinking at my 8:20 tour it might go till closing. hmm...
Yeah your tour may go to closing because there’s more things to check out this year, but I believe you can enter the buffet without your tour guide for dinner so if I were you maybe start your dinner before your tour does, and when you do have dinner with your group go do a maze or enjoy the scare zones in the upper lot
@@SocalTallGuy oh great idea! I wanted to get in early and hit Harry Potter stuff, Girlfriend has never been there, maybe hit that, and dinner or try to get into a couple houses before. We will be there early to try and get in and get our passes. Might see if there are any openings for an earlier tour too lol thanks man
If i buy a rip tour ticket thay doest start till 845 does that mean i cant enter the park until then or am i able to do stuff before hand inside before the tour ?
You can enter the park earlier, but check in to RIP first (if you don’t have an early access ticket then 7pm is the earliest) but I would recommend you arrive to your lounge 30min prior to your tour time

Hello! New sub here, I am doing the RIP this year. What about bathroom breaks? Are you able to go on your own, or does the tour guide give bathroom breaks for the entire group. Sorry, I am just scared to get lost from the group. Lol 😂
Great question! So yeah if you ask your guide for a bathroom break, they’ll find the next best stop and ensures the whole group will stay together

My tour lasted about 5hrs, and yes you can call the VIP number to request your guides
Did your group get to ride any rides at all? Taking a friend who’s never been to universal, on a RIP tour, but also wanted to at least show them the mummy or Jurassic world.
No rides at all, the itinerary is purely mazes and shows, rides you have to go do on your own if you have time after your tour. Keep in mind you do get unlimited express after your tour is over 👍🏻
if you have an rip tour at like 8pm can you still go in the park early and walk around?
You can but you need to have an early access ticket and I recommend showing up to the vip lounge 30min prior to your tour
Does the RIP pass include the drinks in the bar and food?
With RIP you can get free non alcoholic drinks and food in the buffet area, alcohol drinks are not included
My rip tour starts at 8:10pm I hope we get to see everything thats the reason I got it. Definitely gonna do early access so I can check out some scare zones and rides

Our tour took about 6hrs. Started at 5:30 ended about 11:30. We did do a few mazes off camera, but also wanted a good spot for chainsaw chase out 🎃

@@cassandram.m2558 i can confirm you can check in at least 30min prior to your tour but if you do try to access the park earlier you would need an early access ticket

Also quick question: Do you know how much it is to upgrade to express inside the park for horror nights?
Just a heads up, it is not guaranteed you can always upgrade to express because express does sell out, but if you can it’s around $150 I believe

You can request your guides but you have to call VIP days or weeks in advance, im excited for you! 🙌🏻🎃

Did the tour guide mention at the end that you can’t use the rip pass after your guide leaves? I feel like that would definitely take away from the huge payment of ticket.
officially it can only be used as express. people have reported mixed results at houses with some letting them use the rip line
Regardless your credentials turn into an RIP unlimited express ticket so still not bad

The violet flower I believe but I think it was only available in the buffet area of the bar
