@randallbesch2424 I just said that. Alot of them. Probably most of them infact. Just like trump said, he uses the same tax loop holes that Hilary Clinton and her friend's use. These people literally write the tax code. They know all the loop holes, because they wrote them in.
I'll never forget when my world history teacher got to the French revolution, every video he tried to pull got blocked by the school network, so he pulls a scene from this movie to continue the lecture.
8:05 He is also voiced by Steven Universe. Also I gotta say, one thing I geniunely appreciated in this film WAS the revamp in Mr. Peabody's character. In the original cartoons, he WAS an unbearable, smug asshole treating Sherman as nothing more than an ego boosting slave, which gave us the iconic "Quiet you" in the Simpsons. That works for the format, but I love that here, they made their relationship more of a focus in the sense that he geniunely loves Sherman while still having a flawed personality in his stern, calculated behavior towards everything. The backstory was kept intact, only with a whole new context to Mr. Peabody's personality and relationship with Sherman. Ty Burnell really IS the icing on the cake, having such an excellent voice for him that exudes charm, likability, heart and fun.
I do have one gripe about their relationship in the movie: movie-Sherman never gets Peabody’s jokes. In the show, he always got Peabody’s jokes…and he thought they were awful XD
"Died? I have a hard time believing that." No arrogance or denial. Just skepticism. And to me, that's my favorite scene that subtly yet clearly establishes Mr. Peabody as awesome.
14:25 The reason Penny wasn’t there was cause she was still in Ancient Egypt, Sherman says himself the other me is in Egypt, not Troy, so other timeline Sherman was coming to get Peabody to help get Penny back from Egypt
Pompeii playing in the trailer is literally a core memory for me for some reason like whenever that song plays I just think of this movies trailer and specifically one scene where they’re like on a board or something inside a temple or something and they’re sliding down it Edit: I literally went back to watch the trailer and find the scene I always think of and it’s actually them falling in the sky inside of a boat as they both grab each other scared
I remember having the mcdonalds toy for this movie. Two hour after getting it it was completely destroyed because i bashed it into the nearest wall. If you couldn't tell, i had massive anger issues as a kid.
14:24 The reason there's not two Pennys is because they went back to the moment in time when Sherman left her in ancient Egypt to get Peabody's help. But since future Sherman brought future Penny with him, they just forget about having to go to the past to get her. Which means that in this timeline, they canonically just left that version of Penny to die in ancient Egypt, lol.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Netflix series that released after this movie. it was around 2015-2016 I think. I have foggy memories of it but all I could remember is that me and my cousin were obsessed with the show and we'd watch it together every time he came to my house. we were 9 at the time. every episode followed the format of Peabody and Sherman having a show where they'd feature a different historical figure into the modern world. and there was one episode where both Peabody and Sherman travel back into the battle of waterloo.
I remember being incredibly excited for this film as a kid cause I also grew up on some dvds of the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons, with Peabody and Sherman being one of the reoccurring in-betweens for that show, and I felt like I was uniquely seen for actually knowing the characters from this old cartoon. It was a self defense act then but then Sherman has to apologize for that action and both him and Mr. Peabody have to make that up to the CPS lady and Penny's parents. THEN they write into the plot that Sherman and Penny like eachother throughout the adventure while clearly showing during majority of the whole movie (until the end) she had been a toxic influence. At the end of the film she apologies and that's it? We have to accept, oh, she's sorry all is good now. 😭

18:46 see, he can fly, but the problem the whole time wasn't that he couldn't fly, but that he couldn't fly in front of Peabody! Like, the only times he's flown before this scene is when Peabody wasn't around, so the whole issue is more about Peabody trusting that he knows what he's doing and that he can fly the machine
I remember watching this movie for my birthday with my class in elementary school in cinema (I was in the fourth grade and turning 9 in 2014). However, I initially planned on watching The Lego Movie, but sadly that movie's theatrical run had already ended by the time my birthday arrived
As an only child, this movie actually means a lot to me. It's incredibly well done, on my rewatch I compared it to Puss in Boots 2022 in that it speaks to two audiences: adult and child. A great animated film doesn't "talk down" to its audience, this film is a great example of that.
as a child witnessing this scene, watching penny put sherman in a headlock, call him a dog and tell him to go fetch awakened something in me that has never been lulled since
Fun fact: Mr Peabody and Sherman are characters originally from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show I only know this because of a Rocky and Bullwinkle pinball machine that I spent almost an hour trying to get top score on.

I remember watching a netflix show called "the show of Mr.Peabody and Sherman" as a kid. it was a 30 min/episode show where they would receive one guest from a different time each episode. I also remember that the show was divided in multiple parts, one being Mr.Peabody Explaining a Tale that he had in the wayback to the audience, the tale being divided in multiple part during the same episode. The show was really unique in it's writing/animation style and I want to know if someone else watched this as a kid?
Mr. Peabody & Sherman is easily one of my favorite top 10 animated movies. It's a perfect adaptation with a great story. I'm glad DreamWorks also took a crack at Rocky and Bullwinkle too after the live action movie. They cared about making something good.

14:13 "The Dreamworks pose" **shows 2 Illumination characters**
18:46 see, he can fly, but the problem the whole time wasn't that he couldn't fly, but that he couldn't fly in front of Peabody! Like, the only times he's flown before this scene is when Peabody wasn't around, so the whole issue is more about Peabody trusting that he knows what he's doing and that he can fly the machine
We need a Retrospective of The Mr.Peabody and Sherman Show cause that shit BLOWS THE MOVIE OUT OF THE WATER with the lore 😭
A great animated film doesn't "talk down" to its audience, this film is a great example of that.
my name is sherman and i keep getting scared everytime he says "sherman" 😭
You have mean parents
hi sherman!
What's your last name and street name... Asking for a friend /sarcasm
@@Sh12pen Sherman for both
@@professionalidoit3767 sure sure, and phone password and country of residence /for legal reasons more sarcasm
I remember seeing a gazillion advertisements for this in 2nd or 3rd grade and Pompeii being stuck in my head.
Still havnt seen it yet. Soon.
7:58 I didn't expect a reference like that, and it's amazing.
The part where Agamemnon falls for the mini Trojan Horse and doesn’t even acknowledge how they literally fell for their own trick is comedy gold
as a child witnessing this scene, watching penny put sherman in a headlock, call him a dog and tell him to go fetch awakened something in me that has never been lulled since
14:23 oh shit, they used that Wreck-It Ralph render in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed ft. Team Fortress 2 Pyro, Heavy, and Spy
Never thought id hear the phrase "Turbo Glazzer" but here we are. This is gonna be a good video.
2:54 Mr. Peabody: AHHH! "covered Sherman's eyes" who put that there!?
Sherman: I think I'm into Hellhounds now...
Mr. Peabody: WHAT THE FUC-
This was made back when Mr Peabody was doing too much zoomba
9:04 "UNTIL YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES"
18:18 plot twist, he didnt come from the hole, he just happened to be passing by
Fun fact: Mr Peabody and Sherman are characters originally from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show
I only know this because of a Rocky and Bullwinkle pinball machine that I spent almost an hour trying to get top score on.
I still remember seeing this in theaters
Eh don’t do my boy Madagascar 3 like that man 😡
Tbh the only thing I disliked about this movie is how quickly Sherman liked Penny😭 like bro she bullied and belittled u, put u in a headlock and tried to get u taken away from your dad???💀
listen this movie could be the greatest hidden gem of all time and i'd still have beef with it for taking me and my shadow's spot (totally ignoring all the other problems with that movie's production lol, gotta blame someone)
You forgot to mention the happy meal tie in this film got as well the Netflix series.
I was honestly expecting the Mr. Peabody and Sherman show to be at least brought up in this video, but whatever. Good video regardless. Is told me some useless Peabody facts I will use later. I also forgot for a quick second that this was Useless Sonic Facts guy
I remember a soft play i went to as a kid had a massive poster advertising this film and now I'm working there, it's still there for some unknown reason. it's gotten to the point where my coworkers practically pray to it before a shift
I watched this movie in theaters and Im now old enough to understand the Bill Clinton joke, in a kid's movie...
🤣🤣🤣
2:56 he can’t keep getting away with sneaking hazbinverse into every video
16:49
Mr. Peabody look out your gonna hit the Pentagon 😭💀
5:43 gonna be real, my reaction to that deep cut was quite honestly "no fuckin way", because that ride is the best one at disneyland and I will die on that rock
A wise dog once told me; *Get out of here before you touch yourself!*
*The moment is interrupted by an unexpected sound coming from outside the tent. It’s the familiar voice of Junior Asparagus from Veggie Tales, enjoying a delicious fresh pumpkin pie.*
Voice (outside the tent): Mmm… this pie is absolutely delightful! The perfect balance of sweetness and spice!
The Thumbnail looks like something i would see from a YTP Lol😂
7:58 The transformers one reference goes crazy
Are those... miners in the race 🤨🗣⁉️❓
GRAAAHHHH. MINERS‼️
4:55 Now that’s a name I’ve never heard I’m forever
The life sized loona bit caught me off guard lmao, you earned a sub.
12:20 WE'RE COMING SHERMANUS!🗣🗡🔥🔥
I remember watching a netflix show called "the show of Mr.Peabody and Sherman" as a kid. it was a 30 min/episode show where they would receive one guest from a different time each episode. I also remember that the show was divided in multiple parts, one being Mr.Peabody Explaining a Tale that he had in the wayback to the audience, the tale being divided in multiple part during the same episode. The show was really unique in it's writing/animation style and I want to know if someone else watched this as a kid?
I used to watch that all of the time lol glad someone remembers it too
You forgot to talk about the Mr. Peabody Sherman show. 😢 But you know what here’s my review, 7 out of 10
22:43 Also that’s how I feel about Despicable Me 4
Mr. Peabody & Sherman is easily one of my favorite top 10 animated movies. It's a perfect adaptation with a great story.
I'm glad DreamWorks also took a crack at Rocky and Bullwinkle too after the live action movie. They cared about making something good.
