Topps is not much better when it comes to redemptions. Back in 2018 I sent in 3 redemption cards from Topps Heritage WWE. They sent me two of the cards and I got them in about 2 months but the third card never came. Literally last week I got an email from them about the third card and they said they didn't have it and offered me a 50 dollar online store credit. I took the credit but why did it take them 6 years to contact me just to say they no longer had the card? It took them so long that I forgot about it. With PANINI a few months back I received an NPN card and I did the NPN offer like 3 years ago. So it seems all around the industry there is problems with mail ins and redemptions.

Yeah that's frustrating. There's no actual guarantee ant of those will be fulfilled. Ugh!

This is the reason I don’t really buy wax …. The whole Downtown hunting thing …. How can you purchase that stuff …. Knowing that you’ll never pull a downtown from a “card shop”

I buy wax for the thrill... for the endorphins I guess. If I was smart I'd only buy singles online.

I have a 1981 record breaker Pete Rose that has a missed cut, and I have not yet been able to find another one like it got any idea on this #205

Miscuts happen from time to time. They aren't unique a specific card. For instance, just because you have a miscut #205, doesn't mean that particular card is prone to be miscut. It doesn't automatically add value but since it's a big name, you can probably make some money. Search on ebay for "Miscut 1981 Topps" and you'll see several. Just don't get excited when you see some in the hundreds that are unsold. Hope this helps.
