You can practice the saxophone even at night with headphones on, and enjoy soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and other tones with just one device. This is a recommended digital saxophone.

@@ONEコロ Is there a way to play the yamaha yds 120 in concert pitch? I want to play off of piano sheet music without having to transpose it down three half steps to my alto. Someone said online that you can use the app with the yamaha to transpose any tenor sax up a whole step to simulate a c melody tenor sax. Is this true? Please let me know. thanks
You can use the Yamaha app to change pitch and transpose the sound. However, the YDS-120 connects to the smartphone or tablet device on which the app is installed via a wired connection, while the YDS-150 connects wirelessly via Bluetooth.
I come from a traditional Sax background.....I'm learning the basics of digital Sax! Although on this instrument the fingerings seem the same....there is much to learn which is not instinctual.
YDS-120's fingering is the same as a real saxophone.
However, the key touch is sensitive, so it takes some getting used to.
