They both use the same AWD (Haldex gen4) it is interesting to note how Volkswagen reacts faster and more accurately. Audi AWD seems to be tuned for more performance.

Do same tests with AR Stelvio. Wonder how it wil manage.
You realize that they are the same vehicle with different clothes on...
@S Dem. And probably different software.
They use the different Haldex clutch, Tiguan is gen 4 while this Q3 uses newer gen5 however the way the software and traction control is tuned will always be different, VW is tuned for safety and light off road while Audi is tuned to be more aggressive and sporty.
And then you realize they aren not the same as you thought.
They are the same gen5 haldex borg warner unit. The audis come with xds turned on in the awd control module tiguans do not. You can also adjust the activation of the haldex clutch; reduced noises,normal, increased traction. Ive seen audi come with reduced noises and vws set on normal, could be why the vw reacted slightly faster, audi supposed to be luxury so they do not want the haldex on as much.Ive turned increased traction on with xds in my 17 tig and can certainly say its wonderful in the ice and snow

2019 is for sure using Haldex V.
It would be interesting to see this kind of roller tests conducted at uphill. Though I would guess the results already based on this video.
@Adventure Forester I test cars in different locations, so I always choose flat ground, otherwise that would be impossible to compare cars.
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers Thanks for the reply! I understand but now you compared two cars, so it would be same for both. Uphill with rollers is bit trickier to survive for cars. So it might be something that you might look at the future.

@duszaniespokojna Jaki układ napedu poleciłbyś jako uniwersalny. Potrzebuję coś mocnego co dobrze będzie trzymać się na asfalcie w upalne/deszczowe dni przy większych prędkościach oraz żeby dobrze radziło sobie po nie odśnieżonych bezdrożach.
@Sebastian Polak Ciężko powiedzieć, bo masz podwójne wymagania. Z jednej strony performance awd, a z drugiej strony traction awd. Jaki typ samochodu Cię interesuje?
@@4x4.tests.on.rollers Wiesz chce coś rodzinnego czyli albo sedan albo kombi jeżeli pytasz o typ nadwozia :). Po prostu mieszkam między Krakowem a Zakopanem i potrzebowałbym coś abym mógł się w lecie szybko przemieszczać po asfaltowych śliskich/nagrzanych drogach, a w zimie żebym nie musiał trzymać wizytówek w portfelu z lawetami z uwagi iż pół rodziny mam mieszkających przy Zakopanem z dużym stopniem nachylenia ;). P.S. świetny kanał.
@@SebastianPolakk Mowa o nowych autach? Od tego wiele zależy, przykładowo - systemy oparte o haldexa II nijak się mają do tych na haldexie IV czy V. Jeśli coś starszego, to lepiej szukać mechanicznych rozwiązań, jeśli coś nowszego, to elektronika już daje radę, często lepiej niż mechanika.

@@SebastianPolakk Nic tak uniwersalnego mi póki co nie przychodzi do głowy... :/ Najlepiej coś, co ma wybór trybu jazdy, np. Mitsubishi Lancer SE (ale te tylko z USA) albo Suzuki Kizashi. Pozdrawiam
Mógłbyś wskazać który test zawiera auto z 4x4 zapiętym na stałe i kontrolą trakcji?
@alexaver99 Nie bardzo rozumiem, pytasz ogólnie czy o to konkretne video?
Pytam ogólnie, bo widzę że na kanale są przeważnie systemy elektroniczne/haldex/torsen a chciałbym zobaczyć jak wyjeżdża auto wyposażone tylko w kontrolę trakcji (zwykłe asr/tcs) i napęd na stałe zapięty na 4 koła.
Swoją drogą ciekawe testy, zasubskrybowalem ;)
@@alexaver99 Dzięki :-) Myślę, że Suzuki Grand Vitara to będzie to, o co pytasz :-) Mechaniczny, centralny dyfer, blokada, reduktor i kontrola trakcji :-)

Почему в последнем тесте не показали был ли включен ESP у Tiguan? 😉😉😉
И ещё одно,постоянно меняется формула при испытании,ауди завешивается так,а фольц иначе?
И опять же ESP не факт что у фольца антизанос выключали сразу.
В общем я вижу автор болеет за фольксваген 😂😂😂😂
И уж если фольц круче,то наверное стоит провести тест off-road и развеять это миф о Quattro!😂😂😂
If ESP is OFF, then there is an orange sign on the screen. Tiguan passed all tests with ESP ON, there was no need to turn it off. Q3 couldn't pass all tests with ESP ON, so we turned it off. And it helped. End of story.

@Igor Tiguan passed all tests with ESP ON, there was no need to turn it off like in Q3.
