      This is so true, I used to be implicitly focusing on what I want mostly, and realising more and more how great it is to be able to give, my intentions are more balanced and joy comes more for me as well as for the people I spend time with. The people I look up to most are people like Thich Nhat Hanh who are able to give a whole lot of joy.

      @@loismendelsohn3210 Please know I have been researching the horror inflicted upon the people of Palestine since 2000 when I first watched the BAFTA Award winning documentary called Palestine is till the issue ,I also then went to the BTS'elem site to find out if what I watched was truth and to y horror it was .Israel has elected extremist Zionists whose aim is to eradicate all the people of Palestine .The world is awakened to this and the non stop persecution of the people of Palestine has been continuous scene 1968 ,They have no democratic rights ,750'000 were forced form thier homes and these homes were then given to "settlers" the homeless then were forced to live in Gaza where they have loved for decades under a cruel regime of Israel ,electricity and water is drip fed and turned on and off at whim ,neighbours watch on as children are beaten by IOF soldiers and worse according to Israels own centre for humanity 10'000 innocent Palestinians were killed over the 10 year period prior to Oct 7th .I meditate on the suffering of these people I cannot help but meditate for the ones suffering the most however I also acknowledge that the Israeli Nationlists are suffering from very wrong perceptions perhaps by being forced as a child to learn to hate ,such a cruel thing to do to a child .I therefore feel it is not quite thier fault and I offer empathy to those who have grown up believing that all Palestinian's are cattle or worse and have no value at all .No I do not believe that a freedom fighting group "Hamas" would put their own people in danger by hiding within the camps of children and women or hospitals it makes zero sense for them to do so ,They are fighting for the right t to be considered an equal human with self determination .I only wish peaceful resistance would work with Israeli Nationalist however they are so extreme in their thinking it is beyond anything remotely sane .I of course want peace .I hope for a 2 state solution freedom and fairness to all

    Understanding and love is the most important thing. It begins by understanding ourselves. WHen we understand ourselves, we understands our brothes and sisters . We have more compassion for ourselves and for others.

    • @1970uma
      @1970uma 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is it easy to understand ourselves? When we look deep within we are able to see none of what we think is us, everything is impermanent and transient.. and therein I find is the key.. that everyone is like you sharing the same sufferings and impermanent emotions and feelings etc. That's when i feel the shared humanity.. I am only as good as the other guy in front of me.. when I see both are similar or one something shifts 🙏🤗
