    THANK YOU SO MUCH. I accidentally put my fridge into demo mode and it's been like that all day. Ice cream is melting, things are threatening to rot, etc. You saved the day! Thank you. (Also, for models w/ 3 buttons on each side, it seems to be holding the left top 2 that fixes it)

    Every once in a while either I or my mother will accidentally lean on the freezer door. It's nothing new but we panic every time. This video was more help than the manual itself. Thank you so much!!!!

    I wanted to thank you.. We had company this evening and a guest leaned on the fridge door... It was displaying 0F 0F and we had no idea what to do. As others mentioned, I tried unplugging the power in an attempt to reset it, with no success. I searched for a solution and found your video. We have a different model, however I simply pressed the upper two left buttons and that quickly fixed it. Your information was fantastic!

    thank you so much for posting this.... sisters daughter was leaning against the button and activated the DEMO mode. that was 2 days ago. luckily my son and I are out of town at BoyScout camp, fewer people opening the doors.     I had this happen to me just now. Leaned on the fridge, heard a beep, and OF comes on the display. Couldn't find any reference to OF in the Samsung manual. Unplugging and plugging back in didn't fix it. Only this video helped me. Thanks so much!!!

Thank you. my model is identical so it worked right away, I came back from a trip to this problem, my wife moved everything to the patio fridge, its been like this for two days and I fixed it once I found your video.     Our Model is the RFG237AARS - The magic combo for this model is the Energy Saver button and the Freezer button for three seconds. After I watched your video I ran downstairs and tried different combos until it worked. Thank you! I don't know who in the house happened to do set this off, but everything was slowly thawing and the manual doesn't say crap. Woo hoo!

    Thanks for posting! The Samsung website was absolutely useless: not only in helping me to locate a solution but even with helping to identify what was wrong with the Refrigerator to begin with ("OF" - thought it might mean 'off' but no idea how to fix it). Your video was a huge help! Thanks!!

    Thank you so much for posting this! We have a different model but it was close enough to yours for me to figure it out with trial and error. Ours were the two top buttons on the left hand side. I don't usually leave comments, but I had to with this. When the info wasn't even in the manual, and you posted this and we had it figured out in 10 minutes... I love you for it.

I leaned up against ours the same way and been messing around with for a day and a half not knowing what to do. The display on our Samsung is slightly differently but your advice and demo ended our crisis.

      DId the exact same thing & destroyed all the food at my friends house because of this exactly. IMO pretty dumb to be so easy to do. Hundreds of dollars lost because I leaned against the freezer to put things away.
      Turning off a freezer/fridge should NOT be this easy!

    Thank you so much I’m in tears right now my husband left me and this was my first week alone with our three kids and this happened all my food spoiled and I was in tears we have been eating out to get my boys minds off what’s going on so didn’t notice the fridge had been off when I opened the freezing it was was just dripping with melted food so meat was still half way frozen but I thought I can’t even cook it all and save it because I have no fridge to store it in and now I can try and save the meat and meal prep and store the cooked food in so thank you because I sure didn’t know who to call for help and couldn’t find anything online

    Thanks so much for this video! My husband leaned on the refrigerator and we didn't know what to do. We transferred all our food to the other fridge and unplugged it for 10 minutes.     Thank you so much for posting! Same thing happened here! I noticed the fridge go to "O" and FF after I leaned on it last night and didn't know what it meant. Figured it was odd, but not much else. I should add that I have a different model - I have the Samsung show case. Anyway, this morning noticed the freezer items are all defrosted and there's water all over the floor and I figured it would have something to do with that "O" and "FF" and googled it and your video came up. You saved me a ton of time. Exactly those same buttons (hold them down for a bit) were the culprit. I think it's something they should teach you when they deliver the fridge, but whatever! Thanks again.

    Can barely hear you, but I got the jist. It didn't work for my model, but it got me started. The link you have listed for instructions on other models is not available anymore.     Thank you so much for posting this video, you saved our food!. You are right on pressing different buttons on other models in ours was the Energy Saver and the Freezer ones , still on the left side (Model RSG307AARS), I tried multiple combinations until I got it.

    Thank you so much. My model has 3 buttons on left side though. Held in the top 2 buttons on left for a bit & ta da OF went out & temp numbers showed once again. Then just set to the temps I wanted. Forget trying to find in manual- go straight to TH-cam right away!!

    This is happening right now (exact same fridge as you show in this video) The says to do the exact same thing you said and it doesn't work. Pressing freezer and lighting isn't doing a thing. :-( Any suggestions?
