How to take a Samsung Side By Side Refrigerator out of DEMO (cooling off) mode

via TH-cam Capture 2 different methods depending on when the refrigerator was manufactured. This works for taking out of DEMO(cooling off) mode or putting into DEMO(cooling off) mode

Thank you very much for the info and in my case I don't really know when was made. I bought it on April of 2019. And to get to cooling mode It requires to press and hold for a little over 5 seconds three button's simultaneously. " Freezer, Energy save and Fridge". I found it on the owners manual at the bottom of the page 20, under Cooling off Mode catagory.

My fridge temperature could not hold at the temperature that i want what should i do? I turn it down to 0 degree then it auto comes back 56 degrees. What should i do to keep the temperature stay at one place? Thank you

3 buttons; Energy Saver, Freezer and Lighting. My owners manual tells me the same! BUT, I am trying to force it back into DEMO MODE by pushing those 3 buttons, AS MY MANUAL tells me to do and NOTHING! We have tried it each, separately, at the same time 15 times each!!!! It will NOT go into DEMO MODE! SO damn frustrating that I have a major headache!

jglow try unplugging the refrigerator for about 5 minutes then try putting it into demo mode again after you plug it back in.

Pulling the unit out and unplugging it was something I hoped to avoid; mainly because it is SO incredibly heavy and wedged into an actual boxed space (almost like it's own room so to speak) and it takes so much inch by inch movement. I made a service appointment late Thursday, but they aren't able to come out until Monday! By that time, food begins spoiling, and all the time spent on re-packing on ice is just such a pain, so I really hoped to do this myself. Again, thanks for the reply. It's just too bad that the owners manual doesn't give such a much needed suggestion. Since my problem's began with my refrigerator, within the first year of owning it, I've leaned that Samsung was one of the worst choices I could have made.

jglow you could try turning off the circuit breaker for 5 minutes if you can find out which one it is. It could be worse you could have bought an LG.

Mine , the freezer shows 18 and fridge shows 8 like it’s backwards, the fridge will adjust up to 8 no more, freezer will adjust down to 18???
