Lifesaver!!!!!! I was about to call a repair man last night and found this video and bam my fridge started back working. I was trying the other buttons simultaneously and they didn’t work. Thanks!
I contacted Samsung and also saw on another TH-cam channel where they had me hold the top two buttons going across Freezer and Fridge. It didn't work. I took the Refrigerator apart and ordered the Fan I saw off of Ebay. My food is spoiling so I logged in this morning and saw your Video and now it is off Demo mode, put back together, and now I'm trying to request a cancellation on the Fan part. Thank you for this, sheesh.
This video provided me with the answer to my problem. I had mistakenly placed my refrigerator on demo mode. There was no help in the Samsung book for this problem. You Tube to the rescue. Thanks very much!
Tim Grimes, the two buttons that I pressed in this video are the Freezer and Alarm buttons. Holding them down for approximately 5 seconds should cycle most Samsung refrigerators out of demo mode.
Thank you! My eyes were caving trying to google and read manuals off & on all day! I did everything, resting over & over, unplugging, switching breakers etc... Then youtube dawned on me & in less than 60 sec's later my fridge has come back alive! Lol

I've done on a defrost on my freezer. I have this exact same fridge for some reason it went from Celsius to Fahrenheit how do I get it to go to Fahrenheit again I've tried holding down the alarm button and I've held down the energy saver button I've heard the ding but it didn't switch it over any help
Samsung refrigerators suck. Had I not got mine as a scratch and dent, reduced from 3500 to 700, I would have never bought it and even though I got it that cheap, I'm still regreting it

The instructions are deceiving with Samsung cause the call off=demo. Not true in many cases. Button 4 which is top right or fridge temp button is used with button 1&2 in selecting and deselecting demo on some models. Not the best instructions in their repair manuals to begin with
How do you get the ice maker out of OFF mode. It still said OFF after you got it out of demo mode and set the temps. MIne was frozen up so I had turned the ice maker off and then the locked light came on that's to the left of the OFF light and looks like a little padlock I used blowdryers and defrosted the ice that had formed around the ice maker when I took the ice tray out. I got it all defrosted and dried and got the tray back in. I can't get the padlock to go away even after taking it out of demo mode, holding everything I try for 3 seconds. Can't get the ice maker back to ON mofe or get rid of the off sign as I stated. Sorry, I'm flustered.
This is such a bullshit feature. I've lost hundreds of dollars worth of groceries several times now because of power surge in my area. The fridge returns to demo mode but I have no idea if it's actually running until it's too late

If this doesn't work, try holding the fridge, freezer, and alarm buttons simultaneously for this same model.

That’s not demo mode. That’s OFF. Demo mode will show temps but won’t run compressor. And it’s not how hard you push but where you touch.
