That "cobblers clamp" is called a Stitching Pony, used mainly in the saddlers trade, it has been adopted by shoe repairers over the years mainly to hold straps and minor hand stitching repairs. The other tool, if my memory serves me right, is called a Slide hammer, used for attaching heel blocks where a normal hammer can"t reach.
Hi Tony. Please do a video on how to rejuvenate suede shoes, like you showed me, with a pair of scissors, nail brush, lighter and rejuvenating spray. People will be surprised how easy it is to look after suede footware.
