And then we go apple picking, having a nice picnic and getting squash and pumpkins and having the house smell like spiced pumpkin and patchouli with my bath & body candles… all this before my favorite time of the year : Xmas🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲🌲
I don't really GET all the Fall stuff in August either. I live in NYC. We don't start school until September 7th and it is hot out. It is still beach weather...in fact...the ocean is warm and it is perfect beach weather. Growing up in PA...we didn't harvest pumpkins until October so seeing plastic ones around in August seems weird. I love the change of seasons too! I feel like the internet and stores have forgotten that Fall starts September 21. I usually start a slow roll out of Fall decorations in early September but don't go full on until late September. Then I add in all the Halloween stuff Oct. 1. November 1st Halloween comes down and more Fall, Harvest, Thansgiving goes up... Having said all that... live and let live. Some people just love it so much and want to Fall to be longer I guess. Or they like putting up Christmas on November 1 and so want to enjoy Fall stuff earlier? I wait on Christmas until after Thanksgiving but I leave it up until at least New Year's. I find it so interesting that some people take Christmas down on Dec. 26th. Growing up...we left it up until Jan. 6 for epiphany. Back to nail polish... I bought the green, purple and red (full blast) but I think you've convinced me to get the more brown one too! Sorry this is so long!
Yes! I'm so ready for fall. I live in Alabama & I'm tired of heat watches & warnings. It's been pretty warm here but I'm thankful it hasn't been as hot here as other places.
Yes, you have had so many storms in your area, one right now! Stay safe. It was so hot here this summer but not as hot and dry as last year so it was more bearable. I get tired of the heat after about a month of it.

LISTEN!!! I TOTALLY agree w/ you! I'm not ready for Fall, but it's everywhere! I live in the mountains, too, so it's nearly impossible to avoid the change. It actually makes me miss East Coast Summers. Anyway, this collection is gorgeous! I luv, luv, luv Underground Ball (I've been heavy on purples lately), Lights Down Music Up, Full Blast & Step Out of Line! Infinity Cool is my fav navy, too! I would actually buy this whole collection...which is rare.
Suzi first lady of nails is fairly recent purhace as I found it on sale so gonna pass on the green one as well as the Light down music up (love the name) as I have Merino cool (all time favorite polishes) and actually got 2 Claydreaming ones as I really loved it hehe. My skin is very pale/pink/cool toned so many fall polishes look shit on me as they lean usually quite warm. Got similar blues too and one more cool toned purple but might get this one. My go to green for fall from Essie is Sew psyched as it's not so warm. Overall a lovely collection though!
Sew Psyched is a fantastic polish. I saw it when I was pulling out comparisons the other day and thought- 'dang, I should have added this to my favorite green polish video!'
Totally ready for fall. I’ve been doing fall nails for the last week and a half. August is my least fav month. After our last beach trip around 8/11, I’m always over it.
Lights down music up reminds me so much of a shade from Orly called Rapture, I love it, but it’s pretty old and I can’t find it anymore, so I will definitely be picking this on up. I am in California, still warm, but mornings are cooler and I am already pulling all my fall colors, it’s my favorite season, can’t wait until is in full bloom!
I think it is so well rounded as well. When I watched my review back editing I really was thinking I should have held them all up and said they were all my favorites. lol

OPI Award For Best Nails Goes To and Midnight Mantra came to mind when I saw that inky blue. But I really like that Lights Down Music Up one! So might get that one.
I really appreciate all of your swatches, even if the differences in color are tiny. These differences are important when you're looking at people's skin undertones. For example, OPI That's Hula-rious looks just OK on me, but Essie Chillato makes my hands looks fresh and the polish almost neon. And this Essie Sens-o-real might work better on me too. So I really like that you show all slight difference polishes :)!
Yes, I think it's important to see the slight differences as well. It's always crazy to me to see that I think they will all be the same, but they aren't.

And when you were doing your favorite greens I forgot to mention OPI Uh Oh Roll Down The Window is a favorite. It might be based on the hilarious name. But the color is good too. I like these a lot but have a lot of similar colors. BUT I think I will get Dance til Dawn because I really like doing greys for winter, and this one has a nice dusty lilac/grey vibe that I don’t have. ❤

Aww thank you for being such a supportive followers, I really appreciate it ❤. They do make gel colors but they are kinda hard to come by. Sometimes you can find some on Amazon.
But in montreal today its 95 degrees so we never know if the summer will stay forever or not, i prefer sunny but cold crispy day for the autumn season, As for the essie collection ,not sure it will be available here,
I don't think Essie sells fast, I don't think the vintage vanity nail polish at the Ulta where I am has had one sale of the purple or green one since it came out over half a year ago- it was there before I started shopping for nail polish again in June
Why not mention the name of what the opi mint that you're favourite is that you're holding up? I hate when youtubers do that. I won't watch the target exclusive video because I have no access to target in canada, but it would of been nice to mention it since you are mentioning the two greens at the start of the video.
It's called This Cost Me a Mint. Laurie is really good about sharing the polishes she's wearing or highlighting in a video, as evidenced by the many comparisons she gives us. It was probably an oversight on her part since she was talking about the polish on her nails. Also she loves greens, like many of us do, and maybe just wanted to encourage us to watch that video too 🤷🏽♀️

Essie mixtaupe is one of my FAVORITE polishes. I thought it would be easy to dupe, but I think bc I love it so much I nitpick at every close color so nothing replaces it. Especially in gel formulas 🥲
