I love your videos, the way you speak about colours and textures is very informative. And we both have similar skin-tone, so I like your swatches. But I'm autumn type of person, I just never wear pastels for example, no blue or green (feels strange to me on my nails, don't know why), no yellow... So, as you may imagine, I can hardly agree with your choices - and still I love and watch your videos! That's how great you are! Wish you the best 2024 🙂
I'm currently wearing Peppermint Bark n Bite. I put it on on the 26th and I'm currently only showing a bit of tip wear. Day 6 with just tip wear and just the regular polish, too. I adore a super dark green (I think it's my "power color" as they call it) and finding this one was quite nice. It will probably not replace Pretty Serious' Strigiformes, but it's nice to know I've expanded my options (as that one is long since retired).
China Glaze Spring was also my favorite of 2023, when they arrived on the scene I was so super ready for some fun bright shades! Such beautiful neon pastels, I loved them all!
Lights down, music up is so so good! That’s in my top 10 too. My favorite of the year is probably OPI salty sweet nothings which is so funny bc I’m ALWAYS a cream girl 😂 but there’s something special about that one to me

I agree with you about OPI. They just really didn't do it for me this year. That's ok because it saved me money! I think Malva from the Morgan Taylor Spring collection is my favorite polish this year. Such a beautiful polish! Happy New Year to you and your family, Laurie!
I was expecting a christmas/winter essie collection but never saw one. I can't remember the last collection that I purchased from actually. We just got the odd squad collection in Canada. Turn down your lights, we can't see the difference between the lighter shades, ie the limes they just looked washed out.
Yeah, we didn't really get one this year. It was given to Europe. haha. It was there turn. We did get the Odd Squad Collection though that was recently released.
I'm surprised to see so many drug store brands. Do you not really buy or get many indies in PR or do these just happen to be your faves anyway? I'm not a big indie girl because of budget but I loved game over by cirque colors and HOH by mooncat. Actually my favorite was from my ugly sweater advent by Rogue called yetti to party, it's gorgeous. I'm not sure what my other favorites are from this year but I know I bought a ton 😅

It’s a hybrid between creme and jelly. So, not as opaque as a traditional cream polish. Jelly is transparent, and a crelly is somewhere in between. Hope that makes sense

I have all the Essie's. But I'm starting to be disappointed with them. I'm starting to branch out to Orly and OPI.
