The EPL administration analyzed the demos you can see on this video, and also received a similar opinion from the cybersports community about the player's cheating.

That deagle round in A Main on Ancient is egregious. No decent player would play in those super forward positions (especially crouched against the left wall). Nor preaim nonexistent angles while looking directly at players through walls.
As you suggest, it looks even more suspicious *without* X-ray enabled. He’s all over the place, pushing and retreating seemingly at random.
EDIT: and the fact he’s swapping to his knife while “holding a smoke” indicates he *knows* nobody will push it, and is just waiting there because not doing so would be suspicious. Any decent player would keep his Galil out and ready in case someone tries to flash or nade through the smoke.
if you talk about 2:50 it's a common angle to hold but the shady part it's the way he does it.

Cheaters always easy to spot eventually because they base their style on what they see through walls, while legit players always have to be on the edge and guess. I think this guy just turns it on and off for moments that matters.

Practically all the time watching this guy without x-ray, the immediate instinct is to say "no way he gets any kills here" because he's not clearing possible angles, the angles he clears are sloppy, his movement isn't good, if I'm watching this guy in FaceIt I'm saying he's either distracted by something or just not good. Yet every time seconds before contact, he's hyper-focused and ready for the exact fight that's coming.
Good to see someone knowledgeable about how the game works analyzing a cheater and not somebody just shouting "crisp clean lock boys".

Yes my thoughts exactly. I think he is very suspicious. The biggest red flag for me is that he is conveniently in the right place every time and yet mechanically he doesn't look very good. I mean at least not on the level you'd expect him to be. Playing against real pros and everything (still performing).

So this guy got banned for cheating not because of the A/C but because he was shit at hiding how obvious he is... Now... Imagine a Pro player with good game sense and insane aim and was able to hide it in a not so suspicious way...
His gameplay in general does not pass the bar for playing in tier 2/3. I would question his teammates' and friends' integrity, because even after a few games together this has to be noticeable.
Its pretty common that IGLs doesnt have the best mechanics, therefore I wouldnt look much into that. So at first glance when you know that he has played on multiple LANs I wouldnt suspect him of cheating. But watching back the demo with the x-ray on, everything is too convenient. Pretty sure he is playing with some kind of radar/wh. But dont go blaming his mates because they are a newly formed team that doesnt have experience playing with eachother, almost all of them made statements that they decided to leave the team after the evidence came through since they dont want to be caught up in this mess....

Looking suspicious, but not too obvious.... if you could see that he was actually a highly disciplined player. And you can clearly see he's not. Poor crosshair placement, trigger discipline and overall aim. Even WH can't carry him. He should get a real job.
Just seeing the first clip made me instantly believe he cheated. Not only did he push A main but he pushed A main when three of his teammates had the entirety of B, there is literally no reason for him to push cause that would make you more aware and ready for an A attack in that case. 1:21 he weirdly wiggles in the place, which doesn't seem to be a way of checking little-by-little, and surely isn't common A-D jiggle that u would possibly want to do, if you'd stop at an angle, but it looks like as if he was hesitant to move forward, as you noticed
1:29 with how much of every corner he was clearing previously, he wasn't really interested to first move against the other wall, and check every angle close to Chr1zn's position, also when he looks in the direction of Chrizn, he stops moving his mouse, as if he was unsure, whether he's looking at an opponent, or just an empty space (lol) -- a cheater in his place might have wanted to do this as to make sure that Chrizn isn't moving back here. also shortly after that, around 1:31 in the video, he doesn't just go back to checking every position (he doesn't even check common position on the right, while he's walking out of B entrance), but just moves his crosshair at seemingly random spots. also pulling out knife being so close to mid? lol

other clips don't really speak to me as suspicious, they might just be plays based on the knowledge of opposite team's economy (as i guess) or just trying your sheer luck. but i think it's pretty blatant that he was cheating, and even if he wasn't, it's no biggie, since those clips show that he is a bad player, and thus we can watch less of those in a high-priced tournaments, like we would want to (lol)

Compare how he clears garage in 6:02 and 14:09. He didnt even jiggled or pre aim garage in 14:09.
These clips wouldn't be all too suspicious and could be attributed to dumb luck of some 1600 elo player, but it feels extremely unlikely that a player with such low mechanical abilities and awarness could hold himself in a semi-professional environment without some sort of illegal assistance. Favorite part is when he just peeked three different angles with a molotov in hand in secret.
Wp EPL, really glad you did this, and hope you will do more like these in the future cause they are so many cheaters in tier 3/2.

Only bad players cheat. This they will always be bad. Most cheaters are silvers and then cheats boost them higher. But they still have the brains of a silver.
Because cheating is a crutch, you will never have to improve at the game itself because the cheat does it for you.
Because you need an actual brain to cheat like that and not be obvious as fuck. He's probably too busy thinking whether anything he does is suspicious and makes "mistakes" on purpose to make it seem legit not realizing that makes it even more obvious.

His old account, unfortunately you can't get into the profile or the steam profile on faceit, had between 6000-7000 matches. When he played for Levadia in 2021, he had 5800 matches. Currently cons has a different account, anyone know why?

This is what so many people in the scene appreciate and are hoping to see more of. Manual expert review with pro player advice. This is sadly unlikely to be the only case of a multi-K hours player doing this in tier 2+ scene, but let's hope this discourages many from doing this in the future. Do you send all of this info to other TOs and organizers like Faceit or even Valve or they have to do their own reviews on this player? Thank you kindly so much for doing this and being transparent in a way you likely will get criticism for too.
it is a very unprofessional review. im sad you do not notice it. first its done by the coach of the team that lost, nit-picked the only rounds where it is possible to place hackusations (not a single round where cons misplayed), terrible analysis of the rounds that were shown, and so on.

i was admin for a top cs1.6 server for 7years and detecting true cheaters was exciting (not the ones obvious), i spent many hours for but it was clearly my best exp as admin

7:05 , this does not look like a cheater to me. Without xray it did look like the ct went in the smoke, and he followed his movement as it looked like. But with xray you can see that the ct did not go in the smoke, and he missed his spray.

Finally posted on HLTV. Can't believe there are braindead bots who are doubting the validity of this ban. Kid wasn't autohopping and blatant aimbotting so they think that's the only way or something? It's called closet/legit cheating. And Conns was pretty bad at it. Moves like a Gold Nova, Crosshair placement is really bad, and half clears corners when he knows there's no one there. Perfectly timing pushes. Trying to act surprised on certain plays, like when he pulled his knife out in ancient when they were behind him. It's all an act, and they love doing it. They need to make mistakes so they have the benefit of the doubt. I played with a closet cheater before, and I know all of their tricks.

A lot of ppl actually using the flusha card but flusha was sus because he was so good at the time. This guy(as mentioned by olof) played and moved like trash but basically knew and felt everything like a god.
his movement doesn't fit a pro player. Go doesn't have to be crazy like m0nesy or something but he looks totally amateur missing the nades, bumping into walls (not aware of the map) etc. He is 100% wh or radar hack.
Imagine having worse movement than a faceit lvl 3 and thinking you won't get caught cheating in the EPL.

The last few clips are extremely obvious -- especially when he keeps prevaricating on whether to leave A or not, and just so happens to get a kill on one guy pushing when he looks back. But throughout these clips he keeps peeking with nades, quickswitching when he knows he's safe, and pre-aiming players he has no information on. It's extremely obvious he's cheating.

Only 2 clips on Ancient shown and the nuke fighting to get OT was really sus imo. Most of the clips can be dumb luck but pushing/holding A with a deagle on ancient then prefiring the guy donut with a galil when you had 0 info on both plays. On nuke when he was awping and they were down 4 rounds til OT he started to be a little more obvious to help the team it seems get to OT. It holds things for 0 reason and has movement to perfectly hide himself from enemies before he peeks them (red outsid when he peeks twinkie is a great example). No one does these things unless you are already aware of enemies.

Didn't notice that, you right, if he was close enough to hear the T running, then this play is legit (but he didn't clear any spots before going wide open to the right to kill that guy... sus...). Also at 1:50 his teammate hears the T running, that's why he runs holding knife, nothing sus in this play for me.

Agreed. And then there's the fact that the one "analyzing" the demo has an incentive to reach a certain conclusion. They can't just look at what the player does in isolation. They're in large part ignoring: Audible footsteps, teammates' information (including where enemies are NOT), tendencies he might have spotted, him taking chances because he plays a better team and knows that just playing a standard game isn't gonna be enough.
@@fredriksalomonsson662 the ancient ones were obvious, he also has a lack of technical skill and a curious tendency to clearly not be paying attention unless someone is nearby. He literally never clears corners or acts as a player should at times where he doesn’t have information.
@@jaykera if you watch the video again and pretend sound is a thing you should understand that he has lots more information than is being claimed by this clown who is reviewing the demo. When the x-ray get highlighted it means they make sounds
wdym not one sign of cheating? He's doing multiple timings that pros don't take (at least not as often as he does), and has perfect pre-aiming on angles that no one pre aims. The clearing of a-site on ancient is sloppy and no pro player clears like that even if they know enemies probably aren't there. Besides, sound from the game is on in the video and you can see if people are sprinting when they play the clips with x-ray to know if he could've known they were there.
@@fredriksalomonsson662 Explain 4:18 for me then. This is second round t-side he couldn't have spotted tendencies yet. He doesn't have any info on the a-site player/players. Clears very sloppy like he knows no one isn't there. No footsteps is normal for ct-side so he doesn't have info either. Besides he was taking too many chances throughout the game. I get that sometimes you gotta take chances sometimes and that pros do that sometimes, but he does it way too often it's suspicious.
This guy is using a radar. He's definitely not got an aimbot, and if he's got walls, he is awful.

I'm not saying that he's cheating or he isn't, but using the opponents coach's expertise as grounds to ban consss instead of a non-biased, independent person raises so many red flags.
