This was when our boy Elvis, was the Big Dog Alpha Male. Nobody, nobody manned it up on stage like Elvis. Just had it all, won the Jackpot in the lottery of genetics.
You hit it. He had fun and was completely natural. He was naturally gifted. He could dance, had a fabulous voice, looks, charisma and was also known to be very kind as well as intelligent. Had someone worked with him and given him decent movie roles he could have been a decent actor as well. He had management that controlled his career and steered him quite often in the wrong direction. It was a very big part of his frustration, disillusionment and ultimate decline. Nice reaction thank you.
He was a treasure!!! I saw an interview with him once and he said on one of his first performances he went backstage and one of the guys told him to, "get back out there and do what you've been doing"! Elvis asked, "what was I doing?". The guy said moving your arms and legs all around! Elvis said, "and I've been doing it ever since". So, that was just him reacting to the music! He didn't mean anything vulgar by it. Didn't even know or realize what he was doing!!
I love this one not really for the song but because we get to see his fun personality. Suspicious Minds from this concert is his best performance of all time IMO. That whole Vegas 1970 concert is amazing. There are a bunch of great performances in the Aloha concert; American Trilogy is my fave.
When he performed at the Astrodome in Texas, they didn't want his black female back up singers to appear. He told them, they will or he won't and in addition to that, he told them, they are to get the star treatment. They did get the star treatment and the concert went on. Just a little trivia.
Elvis grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi very poor no electricity, no running water, no plumbing n not much food He never forgot his roots. His income was over 1 billion dollars. He gave most away to charities, n people that had needs.Elvis did rock n roll, ballads, n Gospel. A gospel song that everyone llkes is " How Great Thou Art"
There was a time when Elvis's moves were so controversial that when he was on the Ed Sullivan Show they could only film him from the waist up! They didn't call him Elvis the pelvis for nothing! 🤣 the ladies loved it! 🤩💋❤

What I especially like about Elvis , was how generous he was, try to look up "Elvis, a generous heart " or "200 Caddilacs" on youtube, and you will see lots of stories about what he gave away to family, freinds, charity, fans and total strangers, and most of it without publicity !
Hey Keziah, I'm glad to see that you are back again.I got the perfect song for you, since you love guitar work so much. The song is called I need you,by Lynyrd Skynyrd off their second helping album. The guitar work is really amazing
